A wonderful place for elevated and well executed Mexican cuisine. My partner and I split some Caldo de Pollo soup and the chorizo chilaquiles. The soup was refreshing and flavorful, and the chilaquiles were some of the best I've ever had, with a really great puffed and crispy style to the chilaquile chips.Wish I lived in town so I could come back regularly ?
My first time visiting, the restaurant was busy and vibrant, and although there were many people having conversations all around us, it didn't ever sound like we were in a crowded, noisy restaurant. Somehow, it managed to be well-lit, yet cozy. Warm lighting and intimate seating. This is a small intimate cantina with delicious in-house designed and created dishes. There is a wide range of dishes from impressive vegetarian to amazing meats. It's self-titled to be Progressive Mexican and I really felt it stepped-upped from simple authentic but not Tex-Mex.I can't wait to go back and try one of the Tequila Flights!
