“Our first, but not our last, wonderful lunch today, served by our great waiter Anthony. The clam chowder was excellent and the baked haddock sandwich & slaw was yummy. We just loved the atmosphere with the fabulous old wood floors, walls, ceilings and wonderful old b/w pictures on the walls. This is such a great "New England" style restaurant/ tavern with all its character & ambiance. The staff was super friendly and welcoming , the beer, wine, martini selection was great and the food was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. What more could you ask for?! Definelty now one of our favorites in the area & highly recommend.“

“First time here, will come back. Food was great. Male server was forgetful. Scotch was amazing. We both had the smokehouse basket with side salad. Bbq meats were good, comes with amazing garlic pickles and pickled red onions also great, sweet corn bread, and coleslaw.“

“This place is wildly inconsistent from one week to the next. It's out of the way, has no parking, only one server working the whole place during the day, and dark restrooms as if we still used oil lanterns...BUT if you come during the evening on a summer night and order the twin lobster deal ($20), you will find 2 lobsters fat to the brim, steamed to perfection so that the slightest tug will pull a claw free and your lobster tail isn't shrunken to a toothpick. You couldn't order the same thing and get that level of perfect on any of those beachfront flashy joints just a few blocks down the strip. Believe me, I've tried. The small pepperoni pizza is perfectly crisp, great amount seasoning for the red sauce, and quality cheese pull. Now if you wait too long though and get there after the karaoke in winter time and they shut down their lobster deal for the summer, it ain't worth the trek! The burgers are stout and undercooked in the middle, and hearing all the drunk singers gets old after a while.“

“Excellent atmosphere, drinks, and service! What a hidden gem that we are so glad we stumbled upon this past week. So sorry to hear that a developer who owns the strip this fun beach bar is located on will be tearing everything down to put up brand new condos. Where are the people who buy those condos going to go for fun? Please save The Dolphin! Music, game nights, and great atmosphere to hang out and enjoy the ocean views while meeting and mingling with some great people!!“

“Ordered delivery via one of the apps. I meant to order from a closer location but got Portsmouth. Delivery time was extended 3 times. My fault for living more than 5 miles from the place. The tenders were fantastic. Absolutely delicious. Could use more sauce but were fine just as they were. When I Airfried the leftovers they were also great. I got onion rings. Very greasy. Thick. Very greasy. Probably wouldn't get them again. I got fries. Cold by the time I got them. Looked under cooked. Basically cold raw limp potatoes Order the tenders-you won't go wrong.“

“Local’s has become one of my favorite places to eat on the seacoast! Wings are amazing, drinks are excellent, beer is cold and the pizza is out of this world. Don’t sleep on the salad because they have some real gems. Philly egg rolls are my favorite app too. The best quality is how friendly they are and it truly is a local vibe. I had my mother’s mercy meal there and everything was done with care and to perfection. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate her life. Definitely check them out sometime, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you Local’s for being a wonderful business in so many ways!“

“We are here, it's off season and still they put out 5 star service, food and drink. The seafood chowder was stuffed with seafood. I'm pretty sure the entire crab and lobster were in there. Lol. The wings shoukd be illegal they're so good and perfectly cooked with that little bit of crisp on the skin and meat tender. Our bartender/server, Lexie is so so nice and attentive and just kept the great vibe going . If you're in town you so need to check this place out. We're so full!! We forgot to get pics because we were too busy stuffing our face.Wheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk is wide enough, slught incline up to door which is easy open. Bar right inside door so someone would help if needed. First table in long booth with half booth and slide in for wheelchair. All booths would accommodate.“

“The service was impeccable, the environment was warm and welcoming and the food was spectacular.Kid-friendliness: The children in our party were comfortable and had a great time.Wheelchair accessibility: The building is accessible from the back of the building where the parking lot is. Not from the door facing the street.“

“I was just there tonight which is Boxing Day 2022. I am giving black cow a a 3 because I was shocked at the prices. We had 1 sushi roll,1 shrimp app and 3 drinks ..90 bucks. (Don’t forget a Jim bean rocks with 1 good cherry 14 dollars) and about 1 1/2 fingers of amaretto straight)for 11 dollars) You’re better off spending your money somewhere else.. honestly. I’m a chef and understand rising costs however this is crazy however the service was pretty solid.“
