“This is a good place when it isn’t busy so the wait time can get quite long. The area tends to get packed on the weekends and during any Meadowlands event. For a chain Fresh Mex it is pretty good and our kids cannot get enough of their bottomless chips. I usually go for the fajitas, my wife the ribs and the kids try random items every time ? ?️Update: Alejandro Jenny & Paul rectified a minor problem with one of our drinks and graciously comped our whole meal, definitely above and beyond of what was expected. “I have never had a bad meal here. From cuban sandwich , empanadas,.salads and Mangu. Everything is delicious. The coffee is pricey but good. I recommend going for lunch. The ladies that work there are very nice. Happy to find this great addition to Lackawanna. ​“

“I always order burritos from here, also love their chips and guac (just wish there was a smaller size for chips cause I never finish them). They always do a great job preparing the food. “Strolling through town a wanted a little snack to go with my healthy smoothie from earlier. I walked in and was warmly greeted by a cheerful guy. After checking out the menu, I asked him what his favorites were and he made all the tacos sound so delicious. I was kinda of leaning towards a bowl, but after hearing all the taco goodness I grabbed a Cajun shrimp taco to hold me over till later.Turns out the guy I was chatting with was the owner, Todd. Really great to interact with him, super passionate about this place.Service was fast, taco was $6ish, and it was really tasty. I should've grabbed a deal for three, but I'll be back to eat more another day. You should too!“

“I tried Jose Tejas because someone suggested it. Being used to TexMex, I wasn't sure if I would like the food, but I did. I got the cheese enchiladas with beans and rice. Not what I'm used to but none the less it was good. The highlight of the meal was actually one of the bartenders, JJ. Best customer service that I have had in many years. As bars become more ordinary and generic, JJ brings back the older days where the bartender has a big influence on the enjoyment of the meal. Keep it up, JJ!“

“One of my favorite dishes at Los Jarros is the vegetarian taco salad. It's made with a bed of lettuce, rice , black beans, pico, cheese, (add jalapenos for spice!) and sour cream. The star of the show, though, is the guacamole. It's made with fresh avocados, cilantro, onions, and tomatoes, and it's absolutely delicious.The whole meal is incredibly flavorful, and it's a great option for vegetarians or anyone looking for a lighter meal.
