For appetizers I had the fried pork and empanadas. Absolutely DELICIOUS. Our main courses were salmon and the shredded beef with rice and beans . “I was in my old stomping ground this morning and figured I'd try a local place for my quest if Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese. You had the login to add a hash brown, which of course I did. First of all, the egg was scrambled, which I was kind of digging.... gave it a nice, fluffy texture. Taylor ham was above average but the cheese..... there was something different to it. I couldn't put my thumb on it. Was a little creamy... I should've paid attention while he was making it. I also got the home fries which were ok. Nothing crazy. Just potatoes and a few chips green and red pepper. Service was excellent. Definitely better than what I get in my neck of the woods... So good job Fort Lee, you represented strong this morning.“

They were good but it was like 6 pieces. They were big, but left me wanting more. I didn't have it, but the bottomless brunch seemed like a good deal. The food was good, but I felt small portions and I left hungry. I feel like this would make a better happy hour spot. Plates feel smaller and the drinks were good. The restaurant is spacious, and its ambiance is refined. Its décor combines a display of original works by Cuban painters and Oriental vases. The menu, prepared by a Cuban chef, is diverse, with various starters, main courses, and desserts. As main course I ordered lacón, the kind I remembered eating in Cuba, which is not easy to find in New York. My wife had sea bass. Our dishes were all very good. We were very pleased. My wife favorite was a starter called “Discovery”. I particularly enjoyed the flan. Our only recommendation has to do with the music, which was only Salsa while we were there. In our opinion, the addition of other types of Cuban music could enhance the experience. The owners do not have a liquor license yet. Forewarned, we were able to bring our own bottle of wine. For the lunch menu, I recommend the tuna tartare tacos, lobster and shrimp tacos, grilled octopus, garlic shrimp, and oysters for seafood lovers. The shrimp salad and ceviche were decent, but I'm not a fan of sweet fruits paired with seafood. The meat appetizers are also great, especially the empanadas, steak skewers, and clothesline bacon. The customer service is pleasant and they made sure they accommodated to their customers well. Just a side note currently the restaurant doesn’t serve liquor but is byob. I got the salmon and it came with white rice and bok choy. There was absolutely no flavor to the white rice, it was just a big serving of white rice. The bok choy was steamed and lightly seasoned and the salmon was good, but nothing special. That dish was priced at $33 and was mainly comprised of white unseasoned rice. Maybe their other dishes are better, but the salmon was not worth that much. Also, this is a Cuban restaurant, but the Cuban sandwich was only available for lunch“

“Just had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was superb. This was my second visit and it was exceptional. There is only one thing management can do to make it even better. The restaurant gets really crowded with very vocal patrons, which is fine, but the music is so loud (in a very small space) that you can’t talk without shouting to your dinner companions. If the music was kept lower, instead of super loud, people could enjoy both the meal and the company of their dinner companions, and would make for a perfect evening.“
