Itto has become my go-to spot for sushi in JC when I can't make it to NYC. I'd recommend sticking to the simple rolls which never disappoint - spicy tuna, yellowtail scallion and eel rolls are my favorite. The dine in atmosphere is quiet and casual - great if you want to have a conversation over a meal and avoid the generally crowded restaurants of downtown JC.
I started eating sushi right about the time I started dating. This puts me at around 20 years old. Fairly late to the game, but hey, acne sucks. Took me awhile to figure out washing excessively is just as bad as being a greasy kid. So yea, I was about 20 years old & still trying to get past a goalie, if you know what I mean.The first time I had sushi was at a restaurant in Newport. This is one of our family's favorite jersey city restaurants for sushi. They have a great lunch special - my daughter loves the salmon lover special, shrimp tempura. Also the soondubu is excellent too! A great neighborhood spot - they have a little bit for everyone.
