“Had the opportunity to return to this treasure in the heights - this time I got the invigorating soup called caldo de gallina. This is not your run of the mill chicken soup. This is a meal and made me feel like a million bucks and like I could shovel snow the rest of the afternoon. I was contentedly full the rest of the day.“

“Cozy and authentic Japanese restaurant in JC Heights. It's tiny inside, and reminds me of the tiny restaurants in Tokyo. They also have takeout and delivery options but I opted to stay in. This place is BYOB and there is a liquor store across the street that sells Sapporo. I opted for a spicy sushi roll as an appetizer and the beef curry donburi. Everything on the menu looks delicious and I plan to come back to try other things.“

“This place blew me away. A very small restaurant. I made sure to make a reservation. The staff were very attentive and polite. They offer water for the table. We brought a bottle of wine with us that they opened and set in ice to chill. We also ordered a pitcher of Passion Fruit Juice for the table. We ordered the classic ceviche and the charcoal grilled pulpo. That ceviche. It surprised us all. So flavorful. The octopus was a tad chewy and the edamame cream was okay. Nothing to rave about on that dish.My friend ordered a pasta saltado dish that was on the specials board. Those potatoes had so much flavor. I kept picking at her plate.I ordered the Tagliatelle al Pesto with Churrasco. Chefs kiss. Everything was packed with flavor. My skirt steak was cooked perfectly.I will be back. I need to explore more on this menu.“

“Felt welcomed the moment we walked in! Friendly staff who was willing to answer questions we had and make recommendations based on the types of things we like. Huge selection of food! Ceviche was DELICIOUS, definitely coming back for that. Large portions and a fun corn snack when you sit down! Check it out for a fun fusion of Peruvian and Italian.“
