“Frankie is an intriguing restaurant that serves Australian-inspired meals. I'm not familiar with Australian food, but I was impressed with their menu offerings. Some of their current dishes that stuck out to me included the Crab and Corn Fried Rich and the Coconut Green Curry. I really liked the Pan Seared Chicken Breast. It seems like a simple meal but it was juicy, tender, and tasty. Overall, Frankie provides a pleasant atmosphere and high-quality dishes.“

“I love this place! Good music, Good vibes, it very chill and laid back in here if your into that. No entry fee. Great service! I don't know if it's the same Dj every time, but the Dj that was there the night I went was amazing. Throwbacks and current songs all perfectly mixed together! They even had a Christmas theme going on when I went. It's a great place with great music and drinks without all the chaos. Mixed demographic and everyone is nice and seems to get along. Will be back.“

“Fire & Oak is always crowded, to be on the safe side, make a reservation. We came on a weekday before 5pm so it wasn't crowded. We were seated at a corner table and the waiter arrived with water not long after. We ordered the sangria pitcher. Though the pitcher looks small, we got 6 glasses of it and I would say the pitcher was good and worth the $39. For appetizer, we had the Mac and cheese. The cheese was very runny, but the pasta was good once you let the cheese drain. We used the remaining cheese to dip our French fries. Although I don't like shoestring fries, these were actually quite good. We also had the salmon that came with only 2 shrimp. With shrimp that good, 2 isn't enough. We also had the bbq ribs which were falling off the bone. They have a bar area and the restaurant is pretty large. The bathroom is a long walk past the kitchen in the hotel hallway.“

The Bistro - Eat. Drink. Connect.® Bistros • $$
540 Washington Blvd, Jersey City

“We stayed at the hotel for one night since we had a dinner party across the street on Saturday. It was just a nice, calm place to have breakfast since there wasn't much open right there on Sunday morning. The staff was very friendly. I had scrambled eggs with applewood smoked bacon, potatoes and toast, and my husband had the breakfast burrito, which came with fresh fruit.“

“One of my girlfriends had a bday outting here so I met her and her friends. When I arrived I was lucky to find parking nearby. I walked in and went to the bar area which is attached and had to go around to the bistro. The table was served by Julian and he was great. I didn't order food so I went to the bar and was served by Shannon. She was super nice and quick even though she was new. There was happy hour set for certain drinks for certain times, so I got the jalapeño margarita and it wasn't bad. I also got the pinot nior and it was ok. I didn't order food but it looked good and they seemed to have enjoyed. We all had fun and will return.“
