“What a fabulous little owner operated smoothie shop! I had a 1 on 1 conversation with one of the owners. He showed me the fresh ingredients they're using for each different menu selection. Located inside LA Fitness, easily visible to the right as you walk inside. I highly recommend this lovely little boutique and plan to personally return many times.“

“Fun, casual atmosphere. The music is a bit loud, but not very. I bring headphones when eating alone but I also love the music.The chettinad curry with lamb was great. It's coconut based and pretty thick and fattening, but very good. I got it with butter free roti and it came with rice. The lamb was not too fatty and was very tender - really excellent! Might not get the curry again because it is so fattening with all the coconut milk, or maybe I can just avoid eating all the coconut milk curry and only eat some of it plus the meat.The chicken vepudu is good and interesting. I'm not sure if it comes without dairy by default or if you have to order it special with no dairy. It is a bit hot for me but if I take breaks between eating then it's not too hot. It comes with lightly fried batter, maybe lightly fried onions and other things, and the meat is tender. Would get again.Dietary restrictions: They have dairy free options“

“I visited Hibiscus Cafe less than an hour before closing on a Sunday evening. The café was really busy, and everyone (including myself) was ordering complicated drinks. A few folks ordered things that required ingredients that were out, and something like that could throw anyone off their game at the end of their shift. However, the woman working was handling everything so smoothly and efficiently, and she was just plain awesome. My matcha latte was also delicious! I can’t wait to go back!“

“While walking back from my class trip at the Whitney Museum, I stumbled upon this wonderful shop and just had to have a look. I kept peaking over the menu by the window and was surprised with how many options they had, they had avocado toast, Açaí bowls, smoothies, juices etc… Since I was running late to my next class I just decided to settle for a smoothie. When I walked inside, the shop had such a beautiful atmosphere, with a few juices/ pastries on display. I even noticed some fresh fruit hanging in the back. I had a bit of trouble with my credit card on the card reader ( probably kept pulling it out to fast ) and the wonderful lady behind the cashier ( who’s name I wish I asked for ) was so sweet and understanding that she just didn’t mind helping me out with that. When she finished making the smoothie my goodness I was blown away by the flavor. I picked a smoothie that had mango, mint, spinach, pineapple and honey called Mango Tango. Such a good combination of ingredients!! I usually don’t finish smoothies all the way but with this one, I drank it to the bottom of the cup haha I highly recommend stopping by this place, it’s like a hidden gem!! ❤️❤️“

The tacos are packed with well seasoned meat, the crispy fish was nicely dressed with slaw and sauce, the salsa are delicious and pack a nice little punch. The tostada was crispy with a flavorful avocado topping and the quesadilla just barely visible under the mountain of Al pastor. My michelada was nice but I'd give the agave wine margs a pass if you're a marg purist. Juan Carlos took great care of us. On hand just when we needed with what we needed, friendly, and left us plenty of time to chow and digest before sending us on our merry way. We really enjoyed the little cabana - it's nice when the COVID inspired street cabana matches the good vibes indoors so even the dog can enjoy the night out.“

The lady behind the counter is the absolute sweetest, drinks aside- she always lightens my mood. The açaí bowls are to die for- not mid. I’ve tried so many spots in Astoria and Vela is consistently yummy. Today. I went in for a milk tea and they ran out of boba. “Okay best smoothie shop ive ever been to! Tried the Smorgasbord (cashews, agave, sea moss!!), and a carrot smoothie! My friend, who's from NY born and raised, added mint and lemon to the carrot mango ginger smoothie and it felt like i was levitating after the first sip! My homegirl got a cute green juice as well...i didnt try it but it was literally gone in 30 seconds. I take that as it was bomb like the rest of the order. So yall this salmon sandwich...it has a sweet sauce on it and my homegirl added the scotch bonnet pepper sauce...the roll was so soft, the greens were crisp and delicious... i honestly am so impressed at how BK takes the simplest things and levels them up with freshness and vibes. What a gem of a spot that will forever be on my BK dining list after a night of drinking and walking these CRAZY New York city blocks which are way different than Orlando city blocks lol this was the rejuvenation we needed. My favorite tea is and always has been the Taro milk tea with grass jelly. They have a few board games and it is an inviting vibe. My adult children get everything from Passion Fruit and Green Tea. Sometimes the slushy type of drinks. It's always pretty good and I believe it is up to par with the Montclair location.“

And the outdoor seating, plants and flowers, and park across the street is perfect. Eating here makes me feel good. My faves are the green goddess salad, the black bean wrap, California wrap, and the Moroccan lentil and the cauliflower chickpea curry. Parking or pulling up for a takeout order are also both very easy since it's away from the congested business district of Rutherford.“

We were immediately greeted with a smile and kindness, and when I asked if I could customize a drink, they assured me that they make juice fresh on the spot for each customer so I could do whatever I needed for my personal taste. While going over the menu, I noticed that they also have a juice cleanse option where you could take premade juices home. “Coming to this juice press actually makes my day every day. Gregory (who I believe is the manager) is the kindest man and provides such great service. I love juice press for its great selection of healthy food, but even more so for the hospitality coming from Gregory and the staff at this location. They are always smiling, helpful, and pleasant. I never want to get lunch anywhere else! I have sampled some off the menu flavors (chocolate mousse, peanut butter and jelly that are SO GOOD I hope they become actual menu items). It just really makes a difference grabbing lunch a few times a week and knowing you will come in to a warm welcome and positive atmosphere rather than other places where you are barely even greeted and trying to get you in and out as quick as possible. “The chicken is hit or miss, which for a rotisserie takeout place is not really acceptable. The sides are always really good, but the real gem here is the gyro and seasoned fries. The service is awful though. Guy at the counter had no greeting, just played on his phone. Didn't use gloves when he handled my food (people use their phones while on the toilette so would been nice to use gloves or wash hands). He didn't say thank you, just handed it to me in cold silence. My advice would be to hire someone who can at least pretend that they want to be there and act like they appreciate your business.
