“We stopped in at this restaurant for breakfast on our way out of town. Be careful, their omelets, etc., have three eggs, which makes them giant sized (my wife and I split one)! The toast was good, service was excellent, and food was very tasty!“

“I highly recommend Maggie’s South Lake Tahoe. I came with a very large group (14), and the staff at Maggie’s had great attention to detail to ensure we had an excellent experience. Very attentive service and amazing food!! Not to forget, the cocktails and wine are a 10/10. Make sure you visit Maggie’s on your next trip to South Lake Tahoe.“

“So glad we checked The Red Hut out!! Not sure why they have some neg reviews. One of our best meals we ate all week!!!! Great service. Good prices. We sat down right away, approx 930am. Our food came out quick. Best french toast I've had in a long time. My husband loved his meal, I will include a picture. I had hashbrowns, lots of bacon, real cheddar cheese and egg.“

“This place is phenomenal. As a Tahoe Local it is hard to find good food around here but this place is on another level. First off the atmosphere is unlike any other in tahoe. Beautiful restaurant, probably the best looking restaurant in tahoe. The food was great. One of the best burgers I’ve had in tahoe. “It tastes like a stick of butter” so tasty and smooth. Also the wings were good. Very Fairly priced for the area. My only comment to make is that I enjoy my burgers and fries with a sauce preferably ranch and this place does not have ranch. Not too big of an issue for me considering they have a tasty spicy aioli that works as a good substitute.“

“Their food never disappoints. My husband would move to Tahoe for the tacos at Freshies alone. We come once a year for our anniversary and it’s a total experience, the food, the view, and the waiters and waitresses are always so nice. It’s an experience!“

“We ate twice here. We had both lunch and dinner and both we amazing. They do recommend reservations. We went to the hot springs on site prior to dinner and enjoyed it vwry much. They do have a nice shower facility with lockers and sauna. There are approx 7 pools that are all different temperatures. They also.have a swimming pool to cool off and chairs. The view surrounding the area is beautiful, relaxing and quiet. It would be nice to have some pool skimmers to clean out leaves and bugs or staffs to do more freq. Ot was very windy so there quite a bit of debri.
All the staff was friendly and helpful.
The restaurant was clean and had a nice ambiance. The had a large menu with a good selection off apps, sandwiches, past, fish and steaks. The portions were large, we had lots of leftovers and were too full for dessert. We ended up taking apple cobbler togo after lunch.
We had their prime rib, steak sandwich with onion rings and sweet pot fries. Soo good. Tried a pork special app that had poppers in it!!! It was really a meal in it self!!! Prob the best app we have EVER had!!
For dinner Inhad chicken fett and my husband enjoyed a sausage pasta dish.“

“Fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff. Mac and Cheese and pork sandwich were delish, French onion could have used a little more salt during making (not the same as adding salt at the table). Even saw some deer rummaging in the front.“

“Beautiful experience! I took my mom for a nice holiday dinner - we started with the pork belly with a nice pairing of strawberry salad. For entrees, we had the mushroom ravioli and the scallops - yum! Cooked perfectly, and the sauces were rich and flavorful, will definitely order these again! We passed on dessert, but a bottle of New Zealand Sauv Blanc was perfection as we delighted in the wonderful service. Will enjoy this place again and again!“

“All the food we ordered was quite good, but nothing was stand out amazing. However, this is the best breakfast place in Tahoe that we've tried. It's better than Bert's by a considerable margin and i didn't think anyone could come here and be disappointed. They also have the best dinner coffee I've had in years.“

“Had breakfast here on July 18th. I had the avocado toast, minus salmon and sour cream, added bacon. My husband had the chicken fried steak and eggs. Portions were good, food was decent. I would definitely try this place again. We had great service as well.“

“This place is so casual in the best way. It wasn’t super crowded and seemed like a low key night so we ate outside with our kids so they wouldn’t get rowdy inside. Heather was super friendly, has a killer memory and got our whole order correct without writing anything down lol. The service and food were great and were adding it to our regular rotation.“

“My hubby and I went to this place for breakfast before we hit the road, we ordered one Lucky Omelet and one Eggs for All Season both of which were made fresh. The only negative comment goes to the toast which felt and tasted a bit stale and old. The hospitality of the service folks was very inviting and our waitress kept checking up on us during our meal.“

“Great experience! We loved the turkey sandwich, poke bowl, and the truffle fries. The 10 acres line ale is also spectacular. Service was friendly and the patio is lovely. The men’s room does not have a door it it’s bathroom stall, which is a little odd. But overall we had a great time here and the food and beer were very good!“
“Very good service pub hosts will accommodate any size party’s and or individuals, great atmosphere, good food for south shore you can’t get any better“

“It’s a no for us. We had our wedding reception here at the Tavern and while the food and drinks were amazing, the way we were treated by management was awful. (Serving staff was wonderful!). We started working with Wendy (owner/manager I'm assuming) months before the wedding. She had to make it known from the beginning that she was doing us a favor by letting us come here on a Saturday night. We paid her $680 for a ton of food, that she was trying to say wouldn't be enough for 40ish people (it was, we had leftovers), and everyone bought their own drinks (39 open tabs they got from us that night). All in all, they got a pretty decent chunk of money from us and our group. When my party got to the tavern, they were told we had an hour and a half (this would put us at 6:30pm) before they would be asking us to leave. This was a huge shock, as Wendy never mentioned a time limit for our event. We were always under the impression that we could stay there as long as we want, as long as our party was buying drinks! Later in the night, we were told that we had to leave by 7 because they had another wedding party coming. This was also never mentioned to us during the planning. So they started bussing our tables while people were still sitting down and made everyone close out their tabs and leave the Tavern. Well we ended up hanging out there until 8:30pm and there was no other party that showed up. It was completely empty up until the time that my groom and I left, and they closed at 10pm. Bummer for them that they missed out on all the extra money from that second wedding party. On top of that, the chef came out to me while we were about to start cutting the cake and asked if we would like him to cut it for us. He offered so nicely, we said yes please and thank you and he did a a wonderful job. Then on our way out, they chased us down telling us that we had to pay for the cake cutting that was offered to us. And on top of all of that, they were trying to charge us $100 for "corkage fees", when there were never any bottles opened by us. I didn't get the manager's name that brought us the extra $150 bill for cake cutting and corkage but he was flat rude. After arguing with my husband and I, and asking the waiter how many bottles he saw (zero open), he did take off the over $100 for corkage, as he should have. Our waiter who took care of us all night, Jake, was literally amazing. He had our back that night, he helped us figure out all the mess that the Tavern caused and he got us back to feeling good about our wedding night. Honestly, if we could have invited Jake to the after party, we would have. Oh and Wendy was nowhere to be found during this whole thing. All this to say, don't expect any sort of decent service from management and don't try to have an event here. Management is rude, they act like they don't want you there, and they push business out the door. At least you can have a nice pizza tho.“

“Restaurant looked nice with a cool bar that opened up to the deck outside. Walked in and were seated within 5 minutes. Service seemed overwhelmed for a fairly slow evening, our server seemed to work a lot of tables. Food came out fairly quickly and hot. We had Mahi tacos, Philly steak, loaded chips, and kiddo shrimp plate. Everything was amazing, prices were great for amount of food, and we’d definitely eat here again.“

“We did not eat before Robert Hall's magic show. So, we have no comment about the food, but the show was awesome. It's intimate and easy to see every aspect of the presentation. We've seen several Las Vegas magic shows and Robert's show is worthy of being on the Strip. A definite show worth your time and money.“

“Absolutely the best experience my wife and I have ever had at a resort. From the location, things to do, Food and natural beauty of the property and rooms. Everyone we met from staff members to other guests were extremely friendly and helpful. Yes, it’s a little pricy because they only offer valet parking as well but it’s worth it. Expect about $100 a day extra for the resort and parking fees.“

“Love this place. My friend lives up the hill from here, and every time I come to visit I need to stop into Mott’s. Fireplace, outdoor fire pit, and a sweet aquarium. Staff is awesome and drinks are cheap.
Wanna spend $10/beer in south lake? Want to fight for a parking spot? Go right ahead. I’ll be at Mott’s having $4 craft beers and enjoying the best dive bar in the area.“

“We had lunch at Brook's (twice) during the celebrity golf tourney at Edgewood. What a nice spot for lunch! The food was delicious (I highly recommend the mahi-mahi tacos) and the scenery was outstanding. If the weather is nice, eat outside on the patio. Good value for the money too, given the location.“

“Once at Applebee's, I said if we are in the USA then I would like to try Applebee's at least once.
The ambience was pleasant and the restaurant was clean by American standards. Like the toilet.
The service was great. The service was very attentive and also accepted special requests.
The food came quite quickly and tasted really great.
So if you're ever in this area, just give Applebee's a try
