I performed at Avenue this last Friday coming from Greece, this place is a true gem in Astoria and NY. Exemplary service, excellent food, great place to play music for people to enjoy. I was impressed by the fact that apart from the Reggaeton & English songs, there were people not speaking Greek as their 1st language who enjoyed the Greek music I also played. I had lunch at Avenue, several months ago and it was great. Recently I decided to try it for dinner to celebrate my best friend’s birthday and so i stopped in to talk to Eddie the manager. Eddie was on point and incredible in setting up the reservation and then putting balloons at our corner of the Birthday paradise. He constantly checked in on us and made us feel at home! The vibe was fun, celebrating Greek Independence day parade day. DJ played a great compilation of music. A little too loud though, hard to hear your conversation. The staff was extremely friendly & courteous. From the lovely young lady who took me to my table, the staff members who kept filling my water glass & my waitress.
