“Just went to Greek City Grille and ordered the chicken souvlaki platter with lemon potatoes. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and the lemon potatoes were absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and the place was so clean and decorated beautifully. Will definitely be coming back!“

“This is my first time going to RoRo gyro. I ordered the RoRo hero with everything on it. It was so delicious. Also, the hero was put together by someone who cares about what they're doing, not slapped together by someone taking their anger out on it. I highly recommend this place! “My absolute favorite Greek restaurant! They have several locations, but I like the one in Bayside the best because I find it's not as crowded as the other ones. The parking here can be a little tough but there is a municipal parking lot about 3 short blocks away and you can also take public transportation there, it is about a block away from the Bayside Long Island Railroad station. Try their steak its my favorite, but I also recommend the octopus, and their fish is always fresh and delicious, but you really can't go wrong with anything you get here. This place is always super clean, the service is always great and they pour a great drink. Now, this is an edited review from my original because i just had to mention Arif, who is the general manager. When you meet Arif you will understand why this place is so great. The guy makes you feel like family and makes sure you have a top-notch experience. Well done, Arif. What else can you ask for! “This restaurant is a MUST!!! Forget Taverna Kyclades. This Greek restaurant has an amazing menu. The food has been consistently delicious. The service has seriously been the best of any restaurant I’ve gone to. You feel like family after just one visit. ❤️“

“Five stars just for Family Corner's avgolemono! It's $5-10 and satisfying with its creaminess, loads of lemon, and oodles of orzo. You can also select it as a side for some of the entrees. I've also been pleased with the Greek wrap ($9.75) and pork souvlaki plate ($14.95). This diner is on the mini side so I can imagine it might get tight during popular times. The employees/owners are nice, and service is efficient. Their Yelp blurb says they've been around since 1990, impressive! Family Corner closes at 3 PM on Saturdays and is not open Sundays. If you want to dine in on Saturday, try to arrive well before 2:30 PM to be seated. Looking forward to trying their breakfast sometime!“

“Service is a little slow, but outside of Astoria Plaka is a well-managed family restaurant with good food. We ordered chicken noodle soup, spinach pie, and a chicken souvlaki platter with lemon potatoes. You can't go wrong with that. Perhaps we might come back?“

“You might get fancier and more expensive if that's your thing but I doubt you'll find a better steak. I've been going to this restaurant for so long it's hard to remember when I first went. It has not changed one bit. This is one of my all time favorite restaurants. If you are in the mood for a steak that is perfect this is the place.“

“We ordered assorted gyros, souvlaki, tacos and baklava. The staff was friendly and the service was wonderful. Over all decent and accommodating to the greek culture with a twist of spanish. Only thing I would change is to add oragano salt and pepper to the gyros and don't blend the tzatziki makes it a bit pasty in texture but flavor was 7/10. The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.“

“Love this place!!!!!!! I had Jimmy and his crew cater a major party we had with over 75 people and their stuff was a hit. Their spinach and cheese pies were amazing and the various desserts they catered were beyond delicious. Jimmy was awesome to deal with, I told him how many people we were having, he helped me with my order to make sure we had enough for everyone and not one thing was left over. Love dealing with people who do the right thing.“

“I’ve gone here a few times with family for birthday celebrations; it’s my sister in law’s fave place for a gathering. The staff is very attentive and friendly, you get great service. The food is delicious - omg the zucchini chips, their dip (hummus and tzatziki sauce) and pita bread platter, calamari and sauce, their grilled shrimp, veggies, even salad is amazing! The whole family and children tend to eat very well when we come here! Would highly recommend. They even had a live jazz singer with band playing this past Saturday when we went. Overall great ambiance, esp for the family.“
