“Fabulous Friday at Nolan's. Friendly, personable service from Christine. The maple balsamic vinigarette on our garden salads was delicious. Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly. Paired well with a bottle of Simi cabernet sauvignon. Recommend the chocolate cake with chocolate mousse for dessert. Finished the evening at their beautiful bar with an after-dinner cocktail. Look forward to dining at Nolan's again soon.”

“Cool place, very modern atmosphere. January was"stout month" so we missed that; I guess they had 4-5 different ones thru the month. They've got 12 taps, 3 dark beers but primarily had IPA & sour's this trip; only one pale ale, no lagersor other ale varieties this time. My favorite was their "Wild Turkey 2009 single barrel bourbon barrel aged 2023 American imperial stout." A nice, thick stout with great flavors. Lots of bourbon with vanilla, chocolate, a touch of coffee & just the right hint of sweetness.”

“The German food was excellent and we couldn't finish it. So, we had to take it home and had it for lunch the next day. The waitress was excellent. Definitely will go back. The German beer with raspberry syrup was great.”

“First try and we found the dinner very good and the service better. Though small on the inside we had reservations at 7 and it was clearing out so we had a super nice dinner a chance to actually talk with the owner and met all the staff. They were engaging and outgoing and discussed their business, the food, and their backgrounds. The owner offered tasting of the wine before I decided on one and we also had a super desert. We like to drive to canandaigua for dinners several times a year (off-season) and il posto bistro will be in our rotation. When we are at the lake it will be a "must dine".”

“My husband and I made a last min reservation on Saturday 2/26. We were sat at our table in the back corner and were not approached at all for 15min. Eventually we made eye contact with someone at the bar and Caleb come running over apologizing. They dropped the ball on assigning a server to us so he took care of us. He was extremely apologetic and comped our drinks which was very nice of him. We are a level headed couple so there was no need for us to escalate anyways. We appreciated how attentive Caleb was to us even when he was multitasking in the kitchen as well!My burger was delicious and perfectly cooked and my husbands chicken sandwich was delicious as well. Huge portions! Everything was hot and fresh. We ordered the Zeppoli to go and it was a nice treat when we got home.We will be back! I appreciated the accountability and transparency from Caleb.”

“We got to sit outside on a perfect day, we had a great waiter named Steve, and I had an excellent wedge salad and to drink, a lavender mule. It was a great experience.Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant has a second floor which is not accessible but the first floor is; there are no stairs at the entrance of the street level.”

“Celebrated my birthday at Casa de Pasta and it was great. My husband and I enjoyed a drink at the bar, and the bartender was friendly and made a great martini. At our table, our waitress seemed new but was friendly and the service was pleasant. The herbed whipped butter and bread were great. My gnocchi with a meatball was delicious, and my husband enjoyed his seafood fra diavolo. Very nice way to celebrate a birthday date night!”

“We had a last minute cancelation for an event and even though FLX couldn't help us out with our event, Kim was great to talk to. Her hands were tied but I know for sure if she could have done it she would have been there for us! “Go have a drink with Ralphie!! I love this place, you find a seat at the bar, and before you know it you are laughing with the bartenders, and talking to strangers. Tell the bartender you want a drink that is sweet but also a little tart, maybe something strawberry or whatever, and he will hand you exactly what you want, even though you had no idea what you wanted. The music gets going, the girls get dancing and the fun goes on and on. Play a game of pool, or shoot some darts or just enjoy a little nonsense with the bouncer. This is not a fancy place, you don't have to have your best manners on, you can just come in your jeans and let it all hang out.”

“There was a party of 7 and everyone had something different. Everyone enjoyed there lunch meal. I had the house salad with crispy chicken which was one of my best. The service was excellent and I would highly recommend.”

“Hole in the wall sports bar, but all decent folk. The Wally Plate is a giant mess of food, but pretty damn good because of the crispy fries and spicy sauce. Would recommend if you're up for a not very fancy experience.”

“Best pizza place in Canandaigua and the majority of surrounding areas. If you're looking for that thin, crispy, foldable NY style pizza this is the place to go. The food is always good and the staff is as well. They greet you as soon as you walk in and make sure that even if you're just grabbing some slices that it's going to be hot and delicious.”

“Lock stock is a classic old ski town style bar and restaurant, with good food and a classic environment straight from an 80s ski movie!The food is good and everything is homemade . The soups are always good, and the Mac and cheese- wings - and salads were all great!The only reason in not gouging the service 5 stars is because I told the lady my drink order, as clearly and to make it simpler.. yet, she did all the things I ask not to have.. and didn't do put the juice in my drink.Apart from that, this place was solid!”

“This is a little different for me I tried this place and got a sausage with peppers and onions with provolone and mayo sub and it wasn't a patty or link the sausage was crumbles and it actually made it more better. I also tried the chicken wings and I couldn't believe I got all flats which are my absolute favorite and they were better than most places I have tried.”

“First time visit, many friends had recommended Eastside and we finally got there. Sat at the bar as we didn't know if we were going to eat, until the bartender put down the specials menu in front of us and we couldn't resist. 2 bartenders, both super attentive and friendly. Food was fantastic,with ample portions. Some live music playing while we were there, loud enough to hear, but quiet enough so you could talk. We will be back for sure. A+ all around!”

“I went for a paint and sip party. The decor and atmosphere is excellent! I went early and ordered food. I ordered the Burria burrito had hardly no meat in it was primarily rice, had no flavor whatsoever and it was not hot temperature wise at all the only thing heated was the wrap itself not the rice or what little meat was in it in fact the meat had white fat that you could tell the meat was cold and not heated up. For $17 I could have went somewhere else and had a hot meal and more food it was not very big portion wise either maybe 8 chips on the side of it. The man the pick up counter for the food was rude also. He barked at me to put the buzzer in the basket. The drink I had was a strawberry passion fruit mocktail and it was amazing. The two bartenders were both very nice. I would go back for drinks. The food is a no go for me.”

“Me and my partner love the chais here ! They preferred the chocolate while I liked the vanilla . We haven’t been able to stop by in a while though , but last time we stopped by they had just stopped doing chocolate for their chais .”

“Such a great little spot on Main Street Canandaigua. You can find plenty of parking in the lot behind the cafe. I love the cozy vibe of the cafe. They even have a wall where people can donate drinks or food items to those who need it. They just need to pick a receipt of the wall and can get the item. So thoughtful. The drinks I have had at the Dalai Java were perfectly made and beyond delicious. I loved the seasonal blueberry compote matcha I ordered. The worker gave me the great tip of using a boba straw to be able to drink up the blueberry bit. I have never had a match drink like this anywhere else; innovative and flavorful. I will say you pay for the excellent quality you get. I have never had a drink be less than 8 dollars here. The drinks are delicious but this is on the higher side to me for a matcha in the area. I will continue to be a patron as the quality is exceptional.”

“My brother who is 83 couldn't find already popped popcorn at the grocery so I thought I would surprise him. I live in Missouri and called KP's in Canandaigua NY to buy and send him some. They politely said they only do events. Then they said they would drop off a couple bags at his house and wouldn't take pay for it. What a great loving company.”

Chuck an Annie the owners are truly amazing people who really care about their store.. pizza is great and they have this black peppercorn wing sauce that I recommend to everyone if you haven't tried them. And also the only place around who sell the zig zag cones lol wich I love. So yes if you have not checked this place out its a must!”

“I stayed here in the summer of 2009 for a wedding. I know that was 15 years ago. This past weekend we meet up with some old friends, who also stayed at the Lafayette. With shared some laughs and talked about the trip and how kind the staff was. The breakfast at the restaurant was incredible. I believe it was a gentlemen named Terry who we all remembered. A very kind man. Service lacks these days at so many places and industries. I hope all is still well at the Lafayette.”

“We had the half pound burgers. ( BBQ and swiss mushroom with all the toppings. Sweet potato fries, curly fries and coleslaw as sides ). Easily shared! Very delicious ! The ice cream portions are extra large! Usually a kiddie or a small is plenty! It's an old fashion setting in a quaint small village.Dietary restrictions: My granddaughter can't have milk so ice cream without milk is hard to find. They have a selection for her.Kid-friendliness: Their indoor seating area has many small kid toys that they can purchase with pocket change.”

“I somehow am just discovering this amazing little gem of a place! I LOVE fingerlakes coffee roasters but traveling to Farmington is too far for a daily coffee. So far I've had an iced latte, iced Jamaican me crazy and my kids have had the kids drinks. They loved them! It is such a fun treat! The prices are beyond reasonable, and they have 32oz cups!!!”

“I have not had Mac's since 2020 so I was looking forward to this return visit. We were the only customers there on a Saturday afternoon, very quiet. We had a few questions about the menu and the person working was happy to help. My husband asked for meat sauce on his cheese steak and they added this at no additional charge. I was shocked by how much they loaded on there with no fee. He was very happy with his food. I loved my cheesesteak as well. The fries were piping hot and fresh. We forgot how filling the cheesesteaks could be and were not able to finish all our fries. I love the mural in the dining area and the comfy booths. Pricing wasn't too bad. We ordered one combo and one additional cheesesteak and it was around 26 dollars for everything. We loved our visit and hope to visit again soon. 4 years is too long to go without Mac's.”

“Went for lunch and was delighted by the fast service and food. Both quality and serving size. Prices were low.What really impressed me was how clean everything was. This is a hometown local hangout. I expected more of a five-star dive and was amazed to find the kitchen area was as clean as my house( maybe cleaner). When I'm going into bars to eat. I'm always disappointed by the restrooms and nervous about eating. Neither was the case here. The bartender was polite, fast to take care of me and very friendly. I believe her name was Jill. There's quite a few of them called Jill there I've been told. It was a Tuesday and can I just tell you the tacos were amazing. I like just a regular beef taco. Yes, probably American style. Hamburger, little onion, lettuce, cheese, tomato with all the taco seasonings some sour cream and salsa. Portions were extremely filling. I will definitely go back for lunch maybe even try a quick dinner.”

“I have been on the hunt for mexican birria tacos for a few weeks now. I saw this place was in town and had them but unfortunately when we ordered, the birria tacos had previously been taken off the menu, which is understandable. This restaurant is run out of Star Cider, which is a bar you walk up to and order. My partner and I went when it was a bit busy. There is a lack of a line or stationary cash register to order at, and this seems to get confusing for the person taking orders at the bar, rightfully so. All of the staff members were very friendly and efficient, and the food is fairly priced; $40 for an appetizer, 2 entrees, and a dessert. We waited about 10 minutes for our food, while two toddlers were running around the restaurant screaming, rolling around on the floor, and climbing all over tables. Obviously this wasn't Star Cider's fault, and i'm sure the employees aren't allowed to intervene, but why allow little babies to run around like this at a bar for adults? The interior of this place is one big open room, full of stone and metal, so all sounds are amplified, including the metal chairs that scrape on the floor. After taking all of this in, we decided to take our food to go. Once we got home and ate it, oh my goodness. BEST mexican food i've ever had. I won't be returning to dine in- however, I will 100% be getting food from Nenos again.”

“Despite price increases nationwide I will have to say that NEW YORK is probably on the list of least inexpsenive fast food restaurants. I want to start by saying this location in particular knows fast food. This is the only taco bell that is consistent and has high quality standards. Anything you get here takes like it is hot, fresh and crispy etc. It doesn't matter what is orders all food is fresh anytime of the day. That standard usually only applies only during peak hours. Highly recommend this location and avoid other taco bells”
