“Traveling back from a trip on a Sunday. We didn’t want to go to a chain so googled Mexican restaurant near me and this came up. It’s a small diner and was crowded. Language barrier was a tiny bit of a challenge but made it work. The food was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. I mean so, so good! I’m so glad we stopped hereParking: Their parking is limited and tight, however we parked very close in a nearby shopping center. Only about 1 minutes walk away”

“This place is small and mighty! Took my Mom in for a seafood lunch after finding Island Fish online nearby my work. The food was absolutely delicious. Mom ordered the lobster bisque which tasted just right, and a steamed lobster. which was delicious. I got a fisherman's platter which was spot on. I think the best part was Donna and Johnny took such good care of us as customers. So kind and fun to talk to. They treated us like family. Johnny was making soups at the time, and gave us some taste tests, and his soups are FANTASTIC. We tasted his she crab soup, the Lobster bisque and the shrimp corn chowder. All were perfectly seasoned and tasty. Order the soup.The whole shop is full of ready made seafood take home treats like crab cakes and seafood salads, and they have frozen crab legs and scallops too. But they do a killer menu hot ready to eat at their tables. Go to Island Fish! I'll be back there as soon as possible. Thank you Island fish for the awesome lunch!”

We had the chicken tenders, onion rings, chopped cheese hero, macaroni and cheese and Cheddar Chicken sandwich. Everything was cooked and presented perfectly. We even had leftovers to take home. “This place is different. Different from the other American Chinese take out, I grew up eating. The Dan Dan Noodles, house special fried rice, and the Orange Chicken are some of the regular options we go with. The service is attentive and friendly. It's definitely worth a try.”

“Love to stop in here for an iced coffee, cream extra light with sugar free Vanilla or Toasted Almond flavors. I treat myself to a coffee because I really enjoy it, coffee is always fresh and delicious, the service is with a smile and I grab my coffee in under 5 min and I'm back in my car onto my next errand. Would recommend DD for a quick, fresh and decadent coffee that's super convenient on the run!”

“Just stopped in, my husband saw on yelp. Delicious! I was feeling cold and wanted soup. Their soup is delicious! And it was very warm. I do not know the names of the pastries I purchased, but the potato one was excellent!! Then there was a meat and cheese, also highly recommended. Really fun to taste and try! “I ordered the foil-packet fish dinner for a Saturday lunch. It blew my mind when I saw the lady bartender skillfully unravel the foil (see video below) to expose the fish dish. “Very yummy Colombian bakery and also a restaurant.Had the passionfruit juice with water, and will continue to order this.Also ordered the salad with chicken. The dressing was very limited just wish there was more but the chicken was very tender and flavorful.Ordered three tacos; our favorite was the chorizo, and mix of all meats.Ordered an arepas rellenas bistec, and also an arepas rellenas pollo. Both very tasty and filling.”

“I first had their delicious Portuguese rolls at Taormina Restaurant & Pizzeria in Commack & just had to ask where they were from. Even though the bakery is a bit out of the way, it was worth the drive for not only the Portuguese rolls but the person who was helping me recommended the rice pastry which was delicious. I also had to try a coconut macaroon which was also delicious. The person who was helping me was very nice and recommended, since I did buy a few rolls, that I freeze the rolls in a paper bag if they weren't going to be consumed right away & then to put them in the oven & they would taste just as fresh as if they baked them.”
