“My wife and I recently hosted a baby shower for our daughter. To say the party was excellent wouldn’t be accurate. It was more than excellent. The food, the service, the staff could not have been better. All of the 55 guests raved about every aspect of the gathering. Many of these guests had never been to Bacaro before but now said they would definitely be coming back. If I had to come up with one negative… I couldn’t. Thanks for making a special day everything we could have hoped for.”

Taking a bite of that lamb over rice was like taking a walk though the Garden of Eden and just taking a deep breath and realizing, this place is the greatest most exquisite food you’ll ever get to taste. “In town from out of state and came in last night for dinner and I was surprised to see there was live entertainment. The performers were great Elvis, Kenny Rogers and Barbara Streisand. Food was excellent. We had penne vodka and a gnocchi dish and they were humongous portions. Also had garlic knots which were the best I’ve ever had. Our waitress was very sweet. Id said that I wished I could have eaten pizza too since I miss ny pizza and she sent us home with a few slices. Will definitely return next time we come back to ny.Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free pizza”

“Vins is a great mom and pop bakery owned by the same family that owned the best ever bakery. A few years back, the son vin took over and vamped it up a little.They offer some delicious cakes, pasties, and baked goods. The seven layer and mouse cakes are our favorite.They also have some great coffee at a nice price.They have monthly specials that feature certain cakes, loafs, and coffee.Everyone who works here is super nice and helpful.Overall, it's a nice wholesome bakery to try if you're in the area.”

“Was late at night and just ate dinner, and we were looking for dessert place. So we looked on Yelp and saw that there was a gelato place nearby. This place is conveniently located next to the LIRR station. There's plenty of parking nearby in the public parking lot. There is seating outside and inside and they were decorated very nicely for the holiday season. I saw they had coffee drinks, gelato with flavored cones, bakery items, milkshakes, and bubble waffles. We got a small order of hazelnut gelato, and another small cup of biscoff and canoli (you can pick 2 flavors in one cup, since you get 2 scoops). She scooped the gelato pretty quickly, and even offered us to try free samples before ordering. The lady serving us was very friendly and kind. We sat I where the news was playing on the TV. The gelato was really good. It had much depth of flavor and was creamy.”

“Great for BECs and coffee/tea. Roast beef is always med-rare to rare which is perfect. Side salads are excellent. Hope this deli never changes a thing, it's our go to for BECs on the weekends. The only bad experience we ever had in dozens of visits is we got ham that was slightly sour and the ends were hard. Someone didn't realize the ham went bad that day I guess but other than that we never have any issues with Neighbors deli.”

“went there after the dentist a while ago, smoothie was great. guy inside was super nice. i told him to surprise me and he gave me the gummy bear one which was super delicious. can be a little pricey but what isnt these days anymore honestly? i would definitely go again on any given day. definitely recommended!!!”

“I tried Khamdee Thai Kitchen for the first time today and I am so happy I did. I was greeted kindly and menu items were explained to me while I placed my takeout order. While I waited for my takeout order to be ready, I was provided a Thai iced tea which was fantastic while I sat and waited in the restaurant. The restaurant has a nice ambiance with a friendly vibe. When I got home to eat my meal with my family, the peanut sauce was perfection- and I'm a peanut sauce snob LoL. I like that it was explained to me in the restaurant that the peanut sauce for the salad is a slightly different consistency so it can coat the salad nicely and labeled in bag so I knew which peanut sauce container to add to my salad. I'm so glad I bought extra peanut sauce as well. It's so delicious! Chicken satay was great, and the drunken noodles were extremely flavorful with the right amount of spice for my liking. The massaman curry was one of the best I ever had and my husband pad Thai was yummy. Overall, I will be coming back to this restaurant again for sure! Thanks for a great experience.”

“This place has good food. I had a quessadilla I liked and I shared a pretzel with beer cheese that was good too. My friends liked their Shepherds pie and fish & chips. There is a huge menu selection. It is a nice place to eat dinner and a nice large place that has many tvs around, a bar and live music which is Great! I will definitely go back here again!”

“My husband ordered my birthday cake at the carvel on Hicksville Road. He ordered a few days ahead of time. He went to pick up the cake and it completely incorrect. They offered 5 dollars off and said they could not have the correct cake done today. He left and called Carvel on Park Blvd. They had it ready in 30 minutes. It may be further from our home but they were able to accommodate very quickly. We will be going there from now on.”

“This has become a top spot for me when it comes to my poke needs. The fish is always super fresh and the portions of everything are generous. The actual bowl itself is nice and large enough to accommodate all your extra toppings. The stability and size of the bowl as well as how nicely the lid fits on are huge plus’s. Of course the food is fantastic, it’s just an added bonus. (Last pics show some sriracha and hoisin sauce that I added myself on top)”

“If you want to have an amazing burger...then I highly recommend going to Dark Horse MP in Massapequa Park. Probably the best burger I've eaten in a restaurant in at least 5 years...ordered it medium rare and it was cooked to perfection.”
