This is a great place for pre-Lincoln Center events, and we eat here often. Last night was particularly good. The sushi is excellent--fresh, beautifully presented. We had the salmon and avocado roll and the magic roll. Excellent! The vegan dessert was a happy surprise--flavorful, lovely texture. Plenty for sharing. Service is excellent--elegant and attentive but not hovering. Highly recommend.
The restaurant was very pretty and low-lit and elegant. The host and hostess greeted us with such enthusiastic friendliness. There was no room at the bar but they offered us a place to stand that had a little ledge around it so we had a place to rest our drinks. The cocktail waitress had no problem with us standing where they get drinks for the diners so that we may order a drink and also brought us ice water. The food was great - I had sashimi which tasted very fresh and tender....read full review

Great setting, good menu options, tasty food. A bit busy and bustling before theater time but still quiet enough to hear each other. Service was good and personnel were welcoming and attentive. A good place to bring a group with good food, a nice setting, and thoughtful workers. Very Good indeed!
