Loved cafe Katja! Been here a few times and the food was always good. This time we had the schnitzel and the jägerschnitzel and they were both delicious. Extra point for our server who was willing to accommodate the last minute change to our order. Tasty Austrian/German food, awesome and friendly staff, and atmosphere.Recommendations:- Austrian Meatballs $25~- Reuben $25~Reuben was well toasted, cheesey, and meaty, served with ranch. The meatballs were excellent for meatball/meatloaf lovers, root veggies were cooked tender and sweet. First time in New York with my family and I, ironically enough my mother is German and her name is Katja so this made us want to check it out and we were extremely impressed, great service and loved the food! We came back a second time within the same week of us being in town, definitely recommend and it’s great to see establishments such as this in the states!
