my fave local Italian sandwich shop closed and I went looking nearby and stumbled in. Had a toasted Parma panini that was excellent. Followed that with a capp and sfogliatelle. The sfogliatelle was the lightest I'd ever had, even in Italy. Not too sweet and nicely citrusy. With just a touch of Euro attitude.
Tasty “Panino Caldo” for 8$. The tiny little orange juice for 3.75$ is quite steep in pricing but maybe normal for NYC? I liked the cozy atmosphere - I would just get rid of single use cutlery when dining in. I mean…come on!Staff was friendly!

A favorite weekend spot for my partner and I. Delicious sandwiches and pastries as well as coffee. Come early in the weekends to snag a table to enjoy as seating is limited and it can get quite busy. We love Masseria!
