To me, Panera is elevated hospital food. However, you cannot go wrong with the broccoli cheddar soup. It was as I remember it, although a tad bit more watery. The bread that comes with it is clutch and between the soup and bread you will definitely satisfied. I also got the passion papaya green iced tea, which has a nice subtle flavor and is not overly sweet. It was nice and refreshing. Panera has arrived in the Upper West Side. It's the same food but the price has skyrocketed. It used to be a chain I enjoyed but I'm not feeling warm cozy vibes anymore. They used to have the salad I loved in the summer. The menu has become so complicated I don't want to order. They are definitely accommodating about the ingredients. As plain as my order is it's not worth the price. I do like the cookies and a pastry now and then. This location is new. I hope it's successful....read full review

Iced coffee is lukewarm and self-serve, with no option to add milk. The inside of this Panera is really weird and impersonal because it's all kiosks and a big area for pick up orders, little seating.
