We had the char kway teow. It's very flavorful. Can't say it's really authentic. As fast food it's very good. It's rather meager for $18 plus tax. You get 2 nice prawns & some sliced fish cake (I think that what they are) with some vegetable & sambal.
I got the traditional prawn and pork ribs noodle with soup.Delicious broth. I grew up in Singapore. This is the closest to the real thing I've ever experienced in the US.5/5 highly recommend

I had quite an authentic Char Kway Teow experience at Prawnaholic Collections at the Urban Hawker Center here in New York. I was served by Mandy and Chef Pai. Mandy (a native Singaporean) was extremely friendly and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. A definite stop when you are here in New York.
