“Intrigued by the signs in the windows exclaiming the benefits of kava, my friend and I strolled into the wonderful world of this non alcoholic bar. Being virgins to this root, we asked for guidance on what to order. This kava is supposed to have the relaxing, mellowing effects of say, Marijuana or even alcohol, but without the detriments that come with those. The young lady suggested a cold kava drink in a coconut cold mug with a slice of pineapple. There's a single, double or triple. She said it's suggested to start high and get the product built up in your system, then go down to single whilst in maintenence mode. We went with the double. We watched her spoon a large spoonful of what looked like, as another patron said, dirty water into our coconut cups! And garnished this dirty water with a pineapple. Bon Appétit! Well I have to say upon the first sip, I was waiting to be repulsed, but it actually didn't have much of a taste. As I got closer to the bottom of the cup, however, I got more flavor.. it was definitely a muddy, earthy flavor. I loved it I have to say. My friend was not a fan. Ha! I guess it's an acquired taste. The atmosphere was very chill. Seems an eclectic crowd. Young, old, parents, singles, white and.. well (us two) black! It was a cool decor. They have board games you can play. Seems a great place to chill alone with a book or laptop. It was dog friendly as well. I think if i lived here, I'd probably be a regular very quickly. Kudos!“

“The new location on Main St where the old Harbor Square Mall was is perfect! Service was excellent. Great food and a lot for the price. Oysters were good although kind of nondescript in flavor. Fried calamari was flavorful and not greasy. Seafood paella was delicious with enough rice to feed three people! Mahi Mahi fish was seasoned perfectly. Drinks good and came in mason jars! Dessert menu was great. Shared vanilla cheesecake with my husband. It's better than what it used to be. Very clean and nice decor. We will be going back!“

“Went New Year’s Eve had an awesome meal off their special menu. Started off with a nice glass of German resiling wine, Shades of Blue, excellent! Then for appetizer had the crab cakes, loaded with crab topped with Aioli sauce, best I’ve ever had. Then had the fillet mignon with lobster tail, fillet had a good amount of gristle in the middle that I had to work around, other than that it was very good. Lobster tail was presented and seasoned very well in some sort of marinated butter, wine and garlic which I thought was top notch of flavor and tenderness. Came with the mash potatoes another good choice some of the best made. I can’t forget their delicious homemade multi grain bread which was very good. For last desert opted for the Crème Brûlée topped off with fresh made whipped cream, awesome. Let me also mention about our waitress very friendly and accommodating, great customer service.Overall had a very enjoyable and unforgettable experience at Nantucket's other than the fillet not being completely satisfied I give it the Cardillo Scale Rating Review of 4.8 out of 5. Will definitely be back again. Happy New Year ? ? ?“

“I had lunch on a Monday afternoon. The restaurant was nearly empty as it was the off-season on a very cold day. I chose the table by the window with a view of the street. My waitress, Caitlyn, was excellent. I had the giant pretzel with 3 dips as an appetizer and the fish and chips for the entree. Both were delicious. The shoestring fries were a welcome treat. They have an extensive list of beers on tap. I had the New Belgium Fat Tire Ale, which was very good. Caitlyn timed the courses well yet was not oversolicitous. Portions are generous and I was given to-go containers when requested. Prices are somewhat high, but given the great location, it's understandable. Would definitely return!“
