“The açaí bowls remind me of how açaí should taste and how it used to taste before it became overly commercialized. The staff is always friendly. The space is very clean. The paninis are so good! When I work in Manhattan, I miss my Astoria location. I'm glad they moved in.“

“I work 12 hour shifts near here and I’m always soooo tired halfway through. I come here for a quick pick me up. The lady behind the counter is the absolute sweetest, drinks aside- she always lightens my mood. The açaí bowls are to die for- not mid. I’ve tried so many spots in Astoria and Vela is consistently yummy. Today. I went in for a milk tea and they ran out of boba. She went an extra mile to charge me for a medium despite me ordering a large! Soooo sweet. ??“

“It is an incredible, cozy place, full of food and flavors that will delight your palate. It is incredible the amount of natural juices that contribute to good health. The service was incredible, the prices affordable and the atmosphere is unique. I loved the mural.“

“This coffee shop is a gem. It’s neat, modern, clean, and the atmosphere is super soothing. There are words of affirmation on their mugs, which was a nice surprise.I had a latte with oat milk and it was refreshing. Seems to be a good place to order some coffee, read a book or get some work done. I didn’t get to check if there was WiFi or not, but this is a place I’d be willing to use my hotspot for.The staff were very warm and welcoming — I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the neighborhood to try a pastry or two! “Regardless of the free Thai Iced Tea offer, I would rate this place is 5 stars. Most nights, my partner and I hold ourselves back from spending all our hard earnings on Piki Poke because of just how refreshing, delicious, and flavorful their food is. As I write this review, I think back to this morning when we squealed about possibly getting Piki Poke. It was our reward for a Friday morning hard work.The salmon and ahi tuna is so fresh; crab salad is perfectly salty; veggies and fruits combined for a light yet filling meal. Also, their staff are SO welcoming, everytime I’ve been they greet me kindly and walk me through the menu.“

“This is my second review and after about 6 months I want to commend The Green Juice Bar for continuing to update their model to fit the neighborhood. They've been making incremental improvements and the place looks great. They are now serving lovely pastries, coffee, snacks and they are now expanding their hours. We walked by on a Saturday night and stopped in for a freshly squeezed orange juice and it was a perfect drink. They've remodeled the space putting in more lighting and seats so it's much more welcoming and visually inviting. I wish this place much success and please support local businesses like this for the neighborhood.“

“Excellent food! The spicy tuna roll was heavenly and love that the bibimbap was something you could choose the ingredients from a list. Everything was fresh. Service was pleasant and efficient. They also offer a substantial selection of smoothies. Last time I got the sweet potato fries and the portion was amazingly generous and they were delicious. Seems that they changed owners because it used to offer grilled chicken. I like the setup of the place much better than before. It's more visible. I highly recommend this eatery! Will definitely come back!“

“In this part of queens it's hard to find a tasty fresh Brazilian cheese bread and this is the place. Don't be put off by it's location- it's located in the back of a Brazilian clothing/ bathing suit store and it's quite the gem. They have different sizes of the bread. I opted for the bigger ones and they were 3 dollars each or 2 for 5. It was soft crusty fluffy and cheesy. Just the right amount of cheese and chew flavor. The lady working the store was super nice and even though I don't speak Portuguese- I had no problem ordering. Please give them a try! This is the definition of mom and pop dive“

“The acai is of premium quality. The service is good. Atmosphere is calm. I am a repeat customer and I travel quite a way to get there. If you are contemplating trying, it is worth it. Ohhh, and the waffle package taste better than other Sobols'. I am a witness.“

“Came to this place which is next door to the Blink Gym I went to earlier today. There seriously need to be more Juice bars close to gyms but I digress. I wanted to try the spot out for a post workout smoothie. They had a good selection and what caught my eye was the Cookies and Creme Muscle Up protein shake, the flavor is as it says plus I believe there was banana I tasted in there too, it was refreshing. I could've had a Panini there too but I was pressed for time and speaking of pressed, the joint is small, it's almost hard to breathe in there but I believe it's meant to be a place to get your stuff and go. The shake was delicious and I might prepare in advance to get another smoothie and a sandwich the next time I come there.“

“Love, love, love Sobol! Truly the best açaí bowls and I have tried many. Their açaí is super creamy and the perfect amount of sweet. They layer granola on the bottom and top so you still have some left at the end. The fruit is always fresh and the portion is large! I've always received very quick, friendly service when I stop at this particular location.“

“Had them cater a work party after sampling a lunch and everyone was super pleased. Flanninis were perfect and salads were so pretty amd fresh we almost didn't want to eat them. Dressings were excellent. Poke bowl was super filling and flavorful. Avocado toast made fresh every time. Prices are very reasonable as well. Staff is super friendly and the app is easy to use as well...able to earn rewards. Bango bowls in NHP is a one stop shop for healthy yet also tasty options.Vegetarian options: Tofu is excellent, same seasoning that is used on the chicken.“
