“I'm no vegan but as my first introduction to the cuisine I was pleasantly surprised. Haam has secured a spot on my best places to eat and introduce to friends and family. The staff were pleasant and timely. Willing to accommodate questions on the menu and make great suggestions. The location is an offbeat spot but stays true to their cuisine, very earthy and good vibe for two or a group of 5. Our meal consisted of freshly cut coconut water, mufongo, Cassava Pone w/Soursop Ice cream, and more!“

“First time getting food from them. Honestly the first time I ordered(via Doordash) a month ago they ran out of oxtails and cancelled my order. This time I ordered Oxtails, Jerk Chicken Empanadas and Mac & Cheese via Seamless to pickup. They cancelled the jerk and Mac. Pretty disappointing. But besides that the oxtail were meaty and flavorful. The sauce tasted tomatoey which was fine. Rice & Peas were fine as was the cabbage.Id get food again I just need them to either have food advertised or edit their online menus to what they actually have.“

“The food is clearly the only reason Triniciti Roti Shop and Restaurant is so popular. Lines form around the block on weekends, and even on a cold, windy Wednesday afternoon the restaurant was packed with hordes of hungry diners smiling in anticipation of the pleasure of eating at this truly fine establishment. The food is hot, fresh and literally fantastic. At Trinciti, it's all about the taste and texture of the chickpeas, which, along with the tamarind chutney, cucumber and hot sauce, form the heart of the doubles. The lamb, chicken and oxtail were outstanding. The oxtail and lamb were tender and flavorful. The slight sweetness of the oxtail was pleasingly intriguing. The portions are much larger than the doubles available at roti shops in the area and the prices are commensurate with them. Don't miss the homemade peanut punch. It was fresh, mild and not too sweet. The gentleman behind the counter highly recommended him, and he was right. This peanut punch is made fresh daily and sells out before the end of the day. You can't miss this.Food is fairly and squarely the one and only reason the Triniciti Roti Shop and Restaurant is so popular with lines that go round the block on weekends and even on a cold, windy Wednesday afternoon, there was a packed restaurant with hordes of hungry guests smiling in Anticipating the treat of eating at this honest to goodness place. The food is hot, fresh and awesome in every sense of the word. Trinciti is particularly about the taste and consistency of the Chana or the Garbanzo beans that form the heart of the doubles along with the tamarind chutney, cucumber and hot sauce.. The lamb, chicken and the oxtail were superb. The oxtail and lamb were tender and flavourful. That light sweetness in the oxtail was happily intriguing. The portion sizes are much bigger than the doubles available in the Roti shops in the area and the prices match. The home made peanut punch is not to be missed. It was fresh, smooth and not too sweet. The gentleman behind the counter highly recommended it and he was right. That peanut punch is made fresh daily and it runs out before the day is done. It is not to be missed.“

“Ok so, this is gonna be long. Ok so I'm a Jamaican and usually stay away from Jamaican restaurants because lately they seem to be cutting corners. I'm a chef and from the old school of real Jamaican cuisine. That being said, the food here has flavor, some dishes are way better than others. The thing I don't like, is the outrageous prices for such small plates. I get it, people gotta make money but when you give your customers a little more, they come back often. Also, the waitress is nice but need training on timing. Bring utensils first and if its a couple, bring both meals together, not bring one plate then 10 minutes later you bring the other.. I like the mature Reggae music played while eating on Friday evening. Oh a live band at 10pm but different genre of music so could be socca , reggae or whatever . I prefer the reggae band. Now after the band finished, the DJ ticked me off. I hate when him cut upp the music after 5 seconds. People were upset about that. Dj could be ok but have no clue how to watch the floor. If see mature people, run the music n stop the cutting up and play the song Dem. Chu man. Me vex and leff. Hellooooooo. adults spend money suh if music nice people wi spend cause Dem dance and sweat. Ok so, i went into details n hopefully the owner reads this and edit as necessary cause my presence can expand your establishment if you listen. Great location , with some adjustments this place could sell aff. I do this for a living, go into businesses, assess whats , great and what needs adjustments and make suggestions. Get it done !! Place can be better and a winner with some twerks Good luck!!?“

The Playlist was playing old skool reggae, hip hop & r&b. The bartender Keyosha was attentive & friendly. They have hookah after 7pm for ($35) , I shall return to try the hookah & red snapper. When you first walk in it's just a small section where the food is placed or picked up but the back area is something to talk about and is a good location for a small event. I will start off by saying I didn't like the flavor of the fried rice but it wasn't nasty, I think it's just a more authentic Trini flavor. The chicken wings were excellent and the chicken was good as well. I also had a fish cake that I devoured and didn't take a photo of but it was good a little spicy. “I stumbled upon this restaurant while in New York for a family event, and despite the scant reviews, I decided to give it a shot. The wasn't a visible menu, but rather I could see the dishes through a glass divider. This added an element of intrigue to the dining experience. I opted for a variety of items, and to my delight, every single dish exceeded my expectations. The food wasn't overpoweringly seasoned, allowing the natural flavors to shine through. The portions size were incredibly generous, offering great value for the money. What truly impressed me was how authenticity Haitian the food tasted. It felt like a genuine taste of Haiti right in the heart of Queens. This authenticity is rare to find, and it made my experience all the more memorable. I was thoroughly impressed and will undoubtedly return. The food here is nothing short of wonderful, and it's a hidden gem worth discovering.“
