I had the flat iron steak. It was cooked perfectly and came with a delicous crispy potato croquet. Others I was with had the fish dinner and mushroom burger both meals came with perfectly cooked hand cut French fries. We all are looking forward to a return visit.
There is a Short Rib sandwich here that I will gladly drive a distance to order again! A great small restaurant coming into Aurora housed in a Century home. The interior is simple, clean - I was glad it reflected the age of the house. We also really enjoyed their homemade tomato-basil soup and potato chips. Mad Jack's is a great place to go anytime. The food and service is always great. Truthfully I always get the burger with mushrooms, Swiss cheese, grilled onions & their special sauce.....always perfect. You can not pass up there home cut fries.
