“In search of a diner in Lakewood, Ohio, I discovered this establishment. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. There were so many choices on the menu! As a first timer, my friend and I settled on the Chorizo Tacos and Breakfast Quesadilla. We added a blueberry muffin. The muffin was grilled--absolutely amazing! The food was prepared to order and exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a delicious spot for breakfast/brunch--this is it!“

“We went around 1:30pm on March7th. Food was very good. Had wine and cocktails. Service was outstanding. Female server and she was probably the best server I have ever had. I would only recommend that there were more appetizers. Bread was outstanding as well as the croissants. Vegetarian dishes were very good as well as the Broccoli melt. “I sit in a lot of coffee shops, just the nature of working from a laptop and loving coffee.This place is a unique experience. I know a few roasters in town and for them it’s a business and they work hard at it, but for for this place it’s a passion and I think it shows in the coffee, the care, and attention to detail.If you’re looking for Starbucks or flavored drinks don’t bother. This coffee isn’t filled with sugar and syrups. In fact I don’t think that they provide sugar. I’d compare it to a wine bar. But after going here for a while I think the vibe is just go with the flow. Do you want to be left alone? CoolDo you want to talk shop about coffee? That’s cool too. There isn’t an overly saccharine manner coming from the baristas. They aren’t trying to “make a sale”which I like.There’s a neighborly atmosphere here. Regulars coming by and checking in. “On behalf of my family, I wanted to leave a quick review that is not necessarily “food related” for what it’s worth. My father recently passed away, but every weekend he would stop into Great Scott’s Bakery and chat with Scott and Heather. When my dad became ill and was no longer able to get his weekend cinnamon croissants and other treats for the grandkids, he would send us. Scott and Heather would always ask how he was doing and send their best – their friendship was a simple one, but one my dad truly cherished. Both Scott and Heather paid their respects to my father during calling hours and it was modest gesture that went a long way in the eyes of my family. We will forever continue to support this local bakery in any capacity we can – thank you Scott and Heather.“

“My wife and I have been getting coffee about twice a week at Revive since soon after it opened two years ago. The decor along with the gloss epoxy floors give the shop a relaxing and clean look. It's the only coffee shop that I've ever patronized that my white chocolate mocha tastes exactly the same every time. I also don't know of any other coffee shop where the owner makes your coffee. The owner Sarah always has several flavored coffees every day and those are my wife's favorite. Our community is lucky to have a family owned cafe like this.“

I have a Rising Star coffee subscription but that doesn't stop me from popping in when I'm nearby for a fresh drip and a pastry from Blackbird. So grateful to have such good local coffee available!“

“Many times I have strolled through Hingetown to visit the various amazing establishments in the area and have been curious about stopping into Verbena ever since they took over the space that once housed Cleveland Tea Revival. For months I’ve tried to coax friends into giving it a whirl with me but was met with confused looks wondering as to why I’d want to go to a dry cocktail bar to drink. Tonight I was finally able to bring a coworker in with me to see what was up and it was fantastic…Verbena is a cute and intimate spirit-free shoppe, bar, and cafe with eloquent drinks and tasty small plates, perfect to share with friends. We were the only ones in there on a Wednesday night besides the owner and bartender who were both very welcoming and cheerful. We started off with a couple glasses of the NA rosé which had very good and balanced acid with prominent red currant and cantaloupe notes. We paired that with dates filled with coconut yogurt topped with pistachios and a cheese board. The cocktails were also well made and pleasing to our palates, we didn’t miss the booze in them one bit! The “lychee margarita” with tajin dusted across the top is a must try.We closed the night out with yet a third round of wonderful bevs as well as the “ghia affogato”, again, excellent. I’m so glad I paid Verbena a proper visit and is an amazing weekday after work hang for anyone who isn’t prepared to power through a hangover the next day. I wish my best to the owner and staff and pray for their continued success. I hope they’ll be staying in the space and grow for many years to come. I know my coworker and I will most certainly be back!“

“The flavors are very good and you receive a generous portion. Tipping is a little awkward. There is a jar as well as tipping options with a credit card. The cashier looked disappointed that I didn’t leave 20%. I know they don’t get paid like a server at a restaurant.“

“Great coffee shop to work or study at! There’s a full food menu, baked goods, and coffee. I get the avocado toast and the frozen buckeye frappe and personally love it. There’s a lot of outlets which is nice but can get verrrry loud, so bring headphones! Overall I’d definitely recommend for a quick coffee or to work/study.“

“I got the lemon and blackberry French toast and it was DIVINE.The food runner who brought us our food was better than our actual server.Our server wasn't attentive. She didn't tell us her name, didn't ask how we were doing, and she took a large amount of time between our drink order and our food order (about 25 minutes) even though it was clear we were ready. Then, she used our table as her sorting area for all of her receipts while we were still eating. As long as I get a different server, I would love to return to this establishment.“

“My latte at Troubadour could have been the smoothest latte I have ever had. It was the perfect temperature and did not seem acidic at all. It seems this place knows coffee. You can tell by the numerous pictures throughout the dining area. It also seemed like it could be run by one person. There were several people in line and one person behind the counter. He handled all the business well and kept churning out the orders. It was kind of fun having the coffee roaster right in the dining room. My son had a hot chocolate and shortbread. He said the hot chocolate was good, but coffee is obviously the star of the show. If I am in the area I will be stopping in.“

Love that they leave you a coffee pitcher and water so you don't have to wait to refill.Lots of healthy options if that's what you are going for.“

“This was my second visit to the new First Watch in Middleburg Heights and everything was Excellent. Both times I sat at the bar and was served immediately. Servers were attentive and personable. Food and drinks were brought out quickly. I ordered the Tropicsl Sunrise juice and it was full of fresh mango, pineapple, strawberry and lime juice well blended and frothy. For lunch I got the pick 2 with veggie soup that was full of delicious veggies and the turkey avocado blt sandwich that was full of sliced Turkey bacon and avocado. Perfect lunch for a cold day in CLE! Highly recommend First Watch for their fresh high quality food and Excellent service.“
