“I’ve been visiting for years and this restaurant has only improved with time! Plenty of seating, friendly staff and servers, bright dining area all add to an enjoyable meal. The food has been consistently great. We brought a friend here from Germany to have him sample our great city’s gastronomic delights….. (besides deep dish pizza and Chicago style hot dogs). We had corned beef sandwiches, potato pancakes, kreplach soup and matzo balls. Everything was delicious and he was blown away by the huge sandwich in taste and size. The rye bread is always fresh and the corned beef thin and warm. The owner even stopped by to greet us…. Our friend was impressed by the whole experience. We definitely will return!“

“We visited the stand at West Side Market and got an amazing lunch. The savory crêpes were as good as the ones we get in Paris. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day. Both girls working were very friendly and helpful when I had questions and special requests. We do not live in the area but would definitely frequent it if we did!“

“This is for a review of the West Side Market stand. I LOVE this place. Everything is fresh and amazing. Mango habanero salsa is a must, as is the jicama/cactus salad. Their tortilla chips are only $3 for a huge bag and they are awesome. Their soft corn tortillas also can't be beat. I'm gonna go here every week. A+++“
“Came to the West Side Market the other day. Tried the pizza bagel, cheese stick, and pepperoni stick. The pizza bagel was amazing, but thought the sticks were just average. The stromboli's looked really good. Wish I had tried one of those instead. Def would return if in the area.“

“We went to Mason's Creamery on the Sunday before the eclipse and got Eclipse Shakes. So fun! The place was busy, so it took us a while to get our treats, but the crowd was in a festive mood and the servers were hustling, so we didn't mind the wait at all. We were lucky enough to snag an inside table for the four of us, which provided for excellent people watching. The Eclipse Shake itself was worth the wait, as we knew it would be. All of Mason's ice cream treats are top notch. This novelty shake was lemon cream ice cream blended into a shake and topped with black-dyed vanilla whip cream. Nom nom nom! It turned our tongues black, but it was worth it!“
