“Got the Flaming Elote dog and it was awesome!!! Also got the chilli cheese dog and that was great as well. Best chilli cheese dog Ive ever had was at A&W rootbeer stand and this is the closes thing Ive found to it. Only difference is, it has shredded cheese on it not liquid cheese. I highly recommend this dog stand. The two running it were very friendly. Ill be back multiple times!!!!“

“I’ve been visiting for years and this restaurant has only improved with time! Plenty of seating, friendly staff and servers, bright dining area all add to an enjoyable meal. The food has been consistently great. We brought a friend here from Germany to have him sample our great city’s gastronomic delights….. (besides deep dish pizza and Chicago style hot dogs). We had corned beef sandwiches, potato pancakes, kreplach soup and matzo balls. Everything was delicious and he was blown away by the huge sandwich in taste and size. The rye bread is always fresh and the corned beef thin and warm. The owner even stopped by to greet us…. Our friend was impressed by the whole experience. We definitely will return!“

“Get ready to eat well and be super hype about the lovely flavors, textures, and prices when you order from this very fine restaurant!The food was phenomenal and the vibes where great! I bit into the polish boy I ordered and it rivaled Kim's. And the loaded tots I got could have been a meal by themselvesby themselves with the portion size and heartiness of toppings (peppers, mushroom, chicken, chipotle sauce, sour cream). I don't think I can have my tots any other way now, they were so nice! And, AND, the owner and his son where extremely personable, pleasant, kind folks. I have nothing but good things to say about this place ❤All in all I ordered two drinks, a smash burger (brisket y'all! ?), a polish boy, loaded tater tots, and a beef hot dog, all for $30. “My friends and I have been on a year-long smash burger tour of Northern Ohio, and doinks burger joint is hands down my personal favorite. The og is my go-to, but I'm more of a traditional burger guy. I've tried all of them, and they are all fantastic, but nothing to me beats the og with a side of pickle salad. Even though it's almost an hour from my house, I stop in at least twice a month.“

“So simple but so good. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful brat on a great simple roll with brown mustard, and for only $4, you can't beat it. Love the west side market and all their stands and this place is one of the best, they are very nice and super quick to make your food, and it's great how you can walk right outside and sit on a bench to eat. You can get a hard or soft roll with mustard, ketchup, or sauerkraut. Love how they perfected one simple food to sell, and they perfected it, definitely will be back!“

“Fantastic hot dog place/live music venue. Amazing hot dogs. Really nice staff. I had a vegan dog with marinated mushrooms, caramelized onion, garlic escarole, Italian giardineira, and roasted garlic aioli. It was AMAZING. Also had some fresh cut fries which were great. Tons of sauces to choose from. Will be back for sure!“

“First time here (previously Sal's Diner), ordered carry out by phone. Large parking area in back. Small old school diner inside, can see the cook working feverishly in front of the counter seats. Maybe another 8 booths for seating. This is owned by the previous owners of Steve's 24hr Diner on Biddulph Road, that recently closed. This is about the same, open 24 hours and breakfast all day. The employees were pleasant and my order was perfect. I really enjoy their breakfast here and the famous chili dogs. For 2 breakfasts and 4 chili dogs came out to $22. You really can't beat that price anywhere. Give this place a try you won't be disappointed.“

“They only take cash, but the $2.50 grilled cheese is GREAT. You can also get a chili cheese dog for $2.75. They are located in the historic West Side Market in the south west corner right on Lorain Avenue. You have to walk away from the main part of the market to get to Johnny’s.“

“Was in town and wanted to try something new from Cleveland. This place was great, the tots were fresh and I like that I could chose my own toppings. Also I’m happy that they have a vegan option. Definitely will come back next I’m in town.“
