We went in rather late last nite. We were treated like king and queen had just walked in. Sam, our server, was as personable as could be and Nicole, the manager gave us a little history about their affiliation with the Grateful Dead references on the menu and on the walls. The food was comforting and delicious. Luv, Luv, Luv this place!
The Rowley Inn is a genuine dive with panache. The Rowley Inn has been long standing next to a Christmas Story House and Museum, so it has its fair share of foot traffic for being tucked away as it is. The food is epically phenomenal, with dishes native to cleveland that can only be found here due to other closers since 2020. Everything is great but sucked that I had to go back inside after leaving from picking up a take out order because they forgot sour cream. The lady said the quesadilla doesn’t come with it but I said it was on the menu. She went back and got a little blob of it but literally held it from me saying “I’m going to have to confirm that the menu says that or else I’m going to have to charge you.” Like cool story I guess I look like a liar.
