“I think this is the best place around Columbus with great Caribbean food. We purchase the Jerk and Curry Goat. It was excellent. The patties taste like they were made fresh and not frozen. Like my mother was back there cooking. The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was so welcoming. We will be back.“

“I’ve order from Mi Yaad on UE a few times before and I really enjoy their sides and Mild Beef Patties. I actually found them because my normal spot routinely runs out of patties, and my cravings led me to continue searching. My food arrives hot, securely packaged and full of flavor! The Mac and Cheese is more of a casserole style, while the cheese pull I usually look for isn’t really there, it doesn’t take away from the taste. Their potato salad is some of the best I’ve had - well seasoned. And the Patties are buttery and flaky and just outright delicious!“

“This was my First Time trying my people's food. I was not happy at all. The food was not fresh, meat dry. The cook told me that she do not cook with Haitian recipes Epsi. I love the picture that have when you walk into the restaurant. Inside feels like Haitian but the food does not give me that home feeling. Even as a Haitian Women I did not take to well when I pulled into the parking lot for they had an American flag on top of the Haitian flag. I don't see how that's not disrespectful to our ancestors. At least have the Haitian flag on top and then your American flag. You can't say your an Haitian restaurant because you speak Haitian but you also have to represent who you are and where you come from no matter where you go in life or places you visit. Many blessings to them and much success. I give 4 star not for the food but for the picture that's painted inside the restaurant once you enter it.“

“Stopped by to try out their food after hearing about it on an old DDD episode. Initially planned on dining in, but upon arrival saw that they only had 3 Cafe tables, so I ordered take-out to take to our hotel lobby. I ordered the Jerk Chicken with Collards & Rice w/peas. My wife got the Curry Chicken with White rice & Cabbage. Both dishes were very good. If I lived in Columbus, I'd go again to try some other dishes.“

“1st time eating here and I will be back! The j**** brown stew chicken w/ rice & peas, cabbage and Mac is the bomb!! Best food I have had in a long time. They did not disappoint at all. The portion size is just enough too for the money. They delivered style and grace with love in their food! Highly recommend!They forgot my Mac and I called and the guys was just so nice about it. My son was not going to eat until he got the Mac and we were definitely pleased with everything. The Mac hits DIFFERENT. Rated #1 in my book!! Great work guys, keep it up!!! I hate spending my money on nasty food. However, I was happy to spend it here and will again and again!! ☺️“

“My mother and father are both from Puerto Rico and I lost my mom in February so it’s just me and my dad. We both miss her food soooo much. I was hoping this place was going to be good and when I say it exceeded every expectation I had. We both loved it and I only paid $20 for two meals! “Had Oxtails, Jerk Chicken, Beef patty, rice and peas, and cabbage. EVERYTHING WAS A HIT!!! Great, from stretch food. You can taste the love in the dishes. The staff was nice and the wait was quick even with a constant line coming through! Definitely see why they have the reviews they do!“

“I love this place. The staff was awesome and food was great. I went there before a concert and after a show next door. The Jamaican Patties are awesome!!!!! They are great before and after you drink. The food wasn’t over priced. The Jamaican slaw is not the mayonnaise version. That’s a big plus for me. I was just in town for the concert. If I lived closer I would go there often.“

“A true taste of Santo Domingo in Columbus: San cocho, chicharrones, plantains. This is a mom and pop greasy spoon! Expect loud bachata and merengue playing in the background complete with fans blowing at high speed. You feel like you are in the DR- trust me, I used to live there. I wouldn't want it any other way.
