“This was the first time I have been here and it’s a cute little family owned diner. Places like these are Gems. They made the Best home fries I ever had! They’re made from scratch and not frozen. They came with the steak and eggs breakfast which was cooked perfectly absolutely delicious. The staff is super friendly. Mh wife and I will most definitely be returning!“

“When I go to a pretentious stuffy place with mediocre food my first thought is “I wish I was at Nate’s”. They don’t reinvent the wheel or come up with weird trendy menu items. They just make the best friggin diner food you’ve ever had. The wait staff is always friendly and quick. Cannot recommend this place enough. I won’t even bother recommending just one thing because it’s all amazing.“

“I go to this location for lunch occasionally in order to get out of the office. My only complaints are that I wish they would cook the fries a bit firmer & that the waitress would ask to refill my fries sooner than I'm almost done eating my food. It has happened twice with the same waitress.“

My husband had the Chicken Picatta, which was, unfortunately, overcooked, but our server, Kelly, was fantastic and exchanged his meal for one perfectly cooked. Kelly saved the day! I had the Walleye and my wife had the scallops for our main course. The crab cakes & shrimp cocktail were our choice for appetizer. All dishes were a symphony of flavors. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was as artistic as it was delicious. The service was equally impressive. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile, and our server, Ellen was well-versed in the menu, helping us make the perfect choices. “Everything was spot on. the wine was nice at a reasonable price pappardelle pasta was just incredible... perfectly flavored with homemade noodles. Only downside was sitting facing west toward the west side of the patio the sun came in and blasted us on our way down. Seasonal issue. Will return.“
