“I probably would inly go back for the food. If you enjoy a local country bar atmosphere this is for you. The food was great, I got a cheeseburger and I'd love to get one again.We had a struggle getting someone's attention to pay for our meals as we were leaving (but I think it was their peak busy hour). So overall decent place, just wasn't my husband and I's kind of hangout“

“We loved this place.We were a little disappointed because the website said 21 and over after 8pm and there were kids there all evening. I would have brought mine had I known they could stay.The bowling was a bit pricey at $63 per game for 8 people. The go carts were a blast. We liked all the vintage games, and forever jewelry was a nice surprise.“

“Great place to meet with our friends for a good time with good food..But this restaurant needs ALOT of tlc. The owner doesn't take pride in such a historical restaurant..horrible pot holes.. ripped up bar stools, floor behind the bar is unsafe for the hard working bartenders, horrible view from the outside.The list goes on and on. Shame on the owner who chooses not to take care of this place!!! Have some respect for your establishment and the fantastic servers that work hard!!“

“We ate on the patio, it was full and there were only 2 servers. Our server was excellent and even though she apologized for being so busy she was excellent. I was pleased to see that as the evening wore on servers from inside came out to help. Even the bartender pitched in. That sign of camaraderie is really amazing. I will be back“

“I was not a fan of the salmon burger. And the wrong food was brought to our table so we started eating it thinking it was ours. Later, I found out it wasn't. I'm not sure what all we were charged for because you don't get a slip before you pay. I really don't like that.“

“The Village Inn in Chippewa Lake is always a fun time. They recently underwent a major renovation which included adding more beer taps! Great local place to enjoy craft beer with friends. They have a patio with picnic tables and cornhole. They have 2 pool tables. They have live music. Back door entrance is handicap accessible. After a long day on the lake, this is a great place to grab dinner!Parking: New blacktop this year!Wheelchair accessibility: Back door is wheelchair accessible.“

“Tried Herman's with my parents this week. I had the fish and chips. 3 pieces of fish. Cooked well but a little small. My mom had the Pierogi meal and she loved it. Definitely a bigger meal. My dad had the BLT. It was big but a little messy for him. Great service and cool bar area. We sat in the upper lounge area with the pool tables. That was below average seating but the lower bar area looked much better. Very pleasant experience overall. Clean, good food and good service.“

“Had the sampler , which had chicken strips, fries, mozzarella sticks,onion rings, and jalapeño poppers. The chicken was great, the breading was flavorful.the fries are average, needed a little salt to fix. Mozzarella sticks were great all around. Poppers were good if you like poppers, I’m more of a grilled popper guy, these are fried . Onion rings were good but not anything to ride home about. Also ordered fried pickles, hush puppies and a grizzly burger.the pickles were spears, I prefer chips, could’ve used more breading. The hush puppies were something to ride home about, great flavor, and the grizzly burger was fantastic, who would’ve thunk salami on a burger. The biggest kicker is the prices, super cheap, which was wild for how good most of the food was. Bartender was really cool.“

“My 3 girlfriend's and I were out shopping and were not familiar with the area. So we googled restaurants near me. Barley Jack's came up. So we decided to give it a shot. Boy, were we surprised. The atmosphere, the food and service was awesome. We definitely will be back. I would bring my children here to eatWheelchair accessibility: Easy access in and out. Also, plenty of room inside.“

“Was thoroughly disappointed with the service. I walked in around 6:10 and sat down at the bar. I counted and there were 13 then went up to 15 other patrons at the bar with 3 bartenders behind the bar.. I left at 6:30 as not a single one acknowledged that I was there and never offered any service. After being ignored for 20 minutes and watching them take other orders, why would I ever go back? I gladly took my business and money elsewhere, where the bar was far busier and was helped in a minute of sitting down. Horrible service by folks who don't car. Must be because it was my first time there and not a local. SMH.UPDATE: I gave them a second chance as that night could have been a fluke. Was served instantly by a very spirited and fun bartender within a minute or two of sitting down. Was a long day so ordered some food.. dang it was good! I was pleasantly surprised and honestly happy I went back to give them another shot. I can say that I will 100% be back. (But the parking does suck LOL, but hey.. when life gives you lemons).“

“Should be renamed to Spunkmeyers 'Identity Struggles'. It's a pub that serves your typical American fare that's also a country bar.? If you don't mind the music the food can be pretty good, but with that being said, it's also very much hit 'n miss. Good one day terrible the next.Service is slow. Do not come here in a rush. Expect to be there for at very minimum an hour. Doesn't matter if it's lunch on a Tuesday and your one of three people there or bar rush. Gonna be an hour at least.Lastly, with the newest owners, they seem to be in pursuit of constantly changing their menu items. Doesn't matter if it's been a well established meal there for X amount of time or not. For example you've always been able to order a Steak Philly here and expect a decent sub. Nothing fancy just a Philly and been around ages. Now without warning it comes with a spicy relish on it. Combine that with the sub-par service/cook relationship and your going to eat spicy relish on it weather you want to or not. Now if that's not an issue with you then it's totally worth the visit.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids under 12 eat free on Mondays running deal every week that most people don't seem to know about or take advantage of.“

“We had our engagement party there with about 25 people and it was so much fun! The workers are amazing and it is the perfect spot to have fun! The DJ that was there was awesome and the karaoke was so much fun!! I would highly recommend to anyone!!“
