“We have been going to Prohibition since it opened years ago. We have never had a bad meal, the drinks are always amazing, and the owner Elton is always welcoming and warm. If you are looking for some great food & bourbon- look no further. One of the best places to go in Powell!“

“A nice little tavern in Powell. They have some interesting looking cocktails. Beer list was ok, but lacking stouts and porters even in December. Food was good, but not exceptional. I had fish and chips. Fish was good and not too greasy, so good points there, but the fries are "shoestring" fries and so don't retain their heat for more than 2 minutes, so they definitely lost points there. (Especially when served as part of fish and chips, you expect the fries to be more than an after thought.) Son had the J Hancock burger which he thought also fell short of expectations. He ordered without onions and it came out without peppers too, which may have contributed to it falling a bit short. Wife thought her salad was quite tasty. I'll probably return, but will avoid the fries.“

“Fantastic cocktails! Food was fantastic... with the exception of over saucing. Would be 5 Star if not for the over saucing... But I will for sure be going back and trying again. I had the "Bologna" sandwich (which was actually mortadella). Meat and bun fantastic... but just overloaded with dijonnaise. The Wedge salad fantastic... But again, absolutely swimming in dressing. I think the cook tonight might have just been over excited with dumping sauces. Unfortunate, because the sauces hid the flavor of the obviously high quality ingredients. The oyster appetizers (both fried and raw) were delicious!! The pickle dusted fries are a must have!! Not overpowering, just a great underlyinging pickle flavor.Highly recommend Rosebud... Just hope the pints of sauce are toned down on my next visit!“

“What a great experience we had this evening! The food was amazing and the service was over the top. Shawnee Station is a beautiful place with a great outdoor patio and the atmosphere is festive. We met the general manager and he is so engaging and making sure that everyone enjoys themselves. The menu is unique and different from the normal chain restaurants we are accustomed to. The Walleye sandwich is so good. Our server Brent was the best!!“

“Had a great meal there Saturday night. I had the wings with the Carolina Barbecue, my wife had the chicken wrap with hush puppies delicious , we also had the candle bread service (fancy) my friend had the brussel sprouts chicken wrap, the fries were great also We will be back. Sorry, no pictures this time just enjoyed eating and drinking.“

“Absolutely LOVE this place!!! My husband and I went there for the first time and the food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! We had the Butternut squash pierogies, their Mac n Cheese, the fish n chips and the Apple Salad. I also tried their Frostbite Sangria….best I’ve ever had! My husband tried a can of the Honey Cherry Cider and it was delicious as well! I cannot say enough good about this place! The amosphere, service all too notch!!!! But the food, by far, was the best part! Lots of Vegetarian options, Vegan and GF.“

“Bar atmosphere with good food. We did not think they were open at first as their open sign is partially covered and looking in the windows it looks empty. They must be in the middle of renovating. The beer cheese soup tasted just like beer cheese but with a souplike texture. The portion sizes were decent. It would be nice if the subs and burgers came with fries. We sat at the bar, the waitresses were kind and attentive.“

“Server was really good. Chicken fettuccine was really good as was my wife wild mushroom flat bread. Big disappointment was your Tavern chips, they used to be so good and crispy. These chips were soggy and had no flavor at all. Main meal and drinks were really good, just fix the chips or take them off the menu.“
