“Perfectly local! Who knew that tucked between a wine bar and a hip eatery was Tommy's Place, a neighborhood bar in the middle of downtown Rocky River. Tommy's is quiet, full of regulars, not to mention the smell of popcorn and skeeball are enough to make you want to come back. Sit at the bar or on the front porch, either way stop in, play some keno and stay awhile. Will definitely be back.“

“We had Old Carolina cater our wedding this last Saturday (2.24.24) at Lake Affect Studios in Cleveland, OH and we cannot thank the staff enough. We opted for a buffet option which worked out so well. We are still getting compliments on how delicious the food was. When we were thinking about food for our wedding, I knew I wanted a barbecue buffet! Once we saw they were on the preferred list of vendors for Lake Affect Studios it was a no brainer and we went with them as our first choice. We used to love eating at Old Carolina when they had a restaurant in Mentor, OH. Kelsey was so helpful in answering all of my questions leading up to wedding day, and assisting with the set up the day before. They did an amazing job keeping everyone fed and the staff was friendly and efficient. They let us take home left over food and we were able to enjoy the barbecue even after our big day. “I decided to order the famous Parmesan Crusted Lamb Chops that everyone has been raving about on TikTok. I also decided to grab a side of the Smokehouse Mac and Cheese. Even with me ordering it to-go, the food was still super fresh and it was all tasty! The portion sizes were also perfect for sharing if you aren’t able to eat it all alone. “Multiple visits. I have enjoyed everything, especially the brisket sandwich - lean. Most recent visit I enjoyed the black plate, Hawaiian smoked ribeye. It was wonderful - moist and tender. Love their bread pudding when they have it. I have returned two days in a row, just for a side of the bread pudding.“

Broncos is definitely in my top 5 after visiting today. let's start with the fantastic greeting that Leah gave us when we came in. she was kind and courteous and explained the menu very well to us. Teresa was also so very nice. now to the food. brisket was moist and very flavorful. with a top notch taste. the pork was very moist and flavorful. I'm trying to be as fair as possible with the ribs because I like my ribs a certain way with a little bit of char on them. very good. fall off the bone tender. and the taste of smoke. which you would expect from a great place like this. I would have raved about them but like I said I like a little char on my ribs. absolutely loved the taste of the baked beans. just wish they would have thrown in brisket. but I'm so use to having smoked beans with brisket so maybe I was just a little thrown off not seeing the brisket. the Mac and cheese, coleslaw and potato salad was very good also. I highly recommend this bbq joint. you will not be disappointed. it's what you expect from a bbq joint. I originally was gonna give it a 4 star but I'm going to give it a 5 star simply because of how Leah made us feel welcomed. please don't take my 2 little quirks about the baked beans and the ribs too serious. most rib eaters don't like char. “Today I came in for the first time since Al and B's left, I ordered a polish boy combo. Everything was fresh, and seasoned well. I was surprised by the fresh cut fries. Normally you don't get fresh cut fries. The sauce is amazing. For the price I got a good amount of food. I will be back.“

“I got the Ruben and the corn beef sandwich ? bit was good the staff are pretty cool dudes the sandwiches are of high quality the store is kind of small though but they make up for it with fast cooking your only gonna wait about 5 to 7 mins which is faster than most fast food restaurants.“

I was then asked for my order and well , how do I say this, I ordered a simple burger and then was asked if I wanted to see how they got their beef, I was taken to the back and was then molested by 2-3 of their employees. “Pretty good pizza lots of cheese or really quality cheese very stringy . Could have used lil more sauce for me personally. Wings where pretty good as well sauce was good got mild buffalo, wish they were more crispy. I'm not sure if they fry or bake them but again that’s just personal preference they were throughly cooked though.“

“Before moving to Cleveland, I didn't know that pierogies and fried fish together were a thing, but I'm here for it. Wasn't really in the mood for anything on a Saturday night, so I decided to order in from Tick Tock. It's a pretty extensive tavern menu, with reasonable prices. Even using a delivery service, the food arrived hot and the portions were generous for the fairly low price. I was happy with the amount of food I received! Instead of pierogies and fish, I got 2 entrees (again, pretty low price, so what the heck) - pierogies, and the breaded shrimp plate. The shrimp were standard butterflied shrimp, and I think there were 10 in the order. Served with cocktail sauce in a little cup. There was aluminum foil in the styrofoam container and they arrived decently warm. The pierogies were served with sauteed onions and sour cream, my preferred way! They had a generous sprinkle of cracked black pepper on top - not expected, but I like pepper, so it was good. The side salads were standard diner fare - ice burg chunks, some tomato, onions, cucumber, and shredded carrots. Nothing special, but I just wanted some crunch. I'll say this is an order again kind of place!“
