“I usually order Local West once a week for pick up. Great food at reasonable prices, a good selection of options like sandwiches and burgers. I love the Voodoo chicken sandwich - one of the best in the city, in my opinion. Truly a nice little staple in the Gordon Square area.“
“Kat was our server and did an excellent job. In our party, some ordered sushi rolls, hibachi and sashimi. Everything was very tasty. They even brought out some samples of other sushi rolls for us to try. We went during lunch, and there is a nice variety of specials offered. We would eat there again.“

“Very pleased with the food and service. Went for happy hour and did a mix of happy hour and regular priced food and drink. All were great. The prices weren't bad for either. Good, strong cocktails, decent beer menu, and a mix of food offerings.The frites are enough to feed a family of four and SO GOOD! The burger was also a big hit with my party. The staff was all very friendly and attentive in a perfect amount - no hovering but they were there when we needed them.The space itself is very inviting, bright and open, and the patio looked like a great place to relax. This is a hidden gem in the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood. We'll definitely be back!“
“Our server ,Jess was very sweet ,helpful and friendly. We happen upon this place just by accident. We are very glad that we did. The food was very good very reasonable. I got the BLT with fries and my husband got the beef Wellington pierogies and it was less than $50. Everything on the menu is local. And they tell you so on the menu where it came from.“

There were a few months recently that it seemed events were prioritized over regular customers and then menu changed for the worse…But now!! Mike and Randy at the bar are an INCREDIBLE duo. It’s turned around significantly and reminds me of how it was when it opened. The service is always amazing… Mike and Randy have incredible drink suggestions… and it is truly the best place to be again! Thank you Mike and Randy!
