We had reservations, yet we were seated ( a party of 2) behind the waitstaff station. It is a table, in my opinion, that should be filled last. After all, who wants to be seated in a super busy, high traffic area where you afforded a view of the backsides of the waitstaff while you are eating? Our waitress was very rude. She kept calling me “Miss” in a loud voice. I was with my husband and I am very obviously not a “Miss”. We had the calamari for an appetizer. We have eaten at the Cabin Club before and the calamari used to be delicious- not so this time. It was bland and disappointing. My husband’s steak was very good. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the salmon. The vegetables were unappetizing and not as described in the menu. The salmon was a poor filet with many bones. The manager offered to replace my meal- and although I did take a replacement, it was a bright spot. Waitress pampered my husband- bringing him drink refills- and ignored me- until she realized I was paying. My husband and I used to love the Cabin Club and recommended it to many people. I’m not sure why this visit was less than we had come to expect.
