“Scooters is a centrally located popular take out restaurant with a small sunny dining patio to eat on if you choose. Their is a lovely little park shaded by large trees directly next door where you can also enjoy your delicious meal. The park features murals & historic equipment reflecting Kirkland Lake's history as a mining town. The staff at Scooters is very friendly & knowledgeable & a pleasure to talk to. The food is excellent featuring fresh charbroiled juicy burgers, fries, shakes, ice cream, wraps, hot dogs, poutine etc.. very tasty indeed! Very clean & family friendly atmosphere with fast courteous service. Highly recommended!”

“Very nice food and excellent pleasant customer service.The restaurant was clean and the ambience was friendly.Did not know that it had opened recently... we were looking for a vegetarian option, we stumbled into this place. Must try the spiced tofu.They do have the regular Burrito options that are non vegetarian.All in all great experience and a huge surprise to see restaurants such as these in this area, and that too open that late in the evening... no problems in giving it a 5 star...Vegetarian options: Loved their Spicy Tofu optionDietary restrictions: As per our request the meal was customized”

“Ordered chicken biryiani, samosa chaat, and garlic naan. As it does take some time to cook, my toddler was getting restless. He was given a freezie and he was so happy. Was very patient with toddler ringing the bell. All the food was fresh and delicious! So glad to have this food option available. Will definitely be going back!”

“Me and my family love the pizza and order it as often as a we can afford with a big family. I don't have any complaints except sometimes when we order (online) and double check a few times and we selected wehandcrafted crust or the pan , and receive thin crust which isn't a favorite for some of us ? we know it's busy !The staff are kind , friendly and awesome!”

“If you’re ever in Kirkland Lake, ON. for any reason, be sure to stop in the The Fed Tavern! We went there for an early dinner before the KL Gold Miners vs Timmins Rock game. Took our fair share of ribbing at the door because of our Rock attire and my Oilers hat but once we were seated it was amazing! Cold beer, delicious food in generous portions and the staff was exemplary!”

“Got a pizza tonight, delivered to Microtel. Pizza was great as usual but the driver (older gentleman) made the payment experience very weird and quite unpleasant. hate to be that guy, but this driver's attitude was absolutely horrible. Not sure if he was on drugs or just having an off night. Weirdest delivery experience I've ever had, and I was a delivery driver for a few years. (I feel bad that you guys have to work with this guy) excellent pizza though.”

“Great food, service is ok take your order quickly but takes a while to get it. I ordered the Chipotle steak bowl well worth the wait, however way too much corn which over powered the other veggies.”

“Friendly, great service. Fries were a bit cold but otherwise was standard. I have celiac disease and my burger was perfect with the cheese on top unlike some who put it on the bottom so I can’t eat it. It would be nice during monopoly to still get the game cards even if they give me a different boxThere is no ramp or accessible door opener at the door near the parking lot.The bathroom has two nice size spotless cubicles. The accessible cubicle has the tissue that is easy to reach and use, and the bar is at a good level and angle for those of us who need it.Sink and floors are clean and dry.Dietary restrictions: I have celiac disease so always order sandwiches with no buns. Many mcds put the cheese on the bottom which then melts. This restaurant thankfully puts the cheese on top. I put it on my rice bread and enjoyed a nice sandwich. But May I have the monopoly pieces that should come with it?I am glad you put the sandwich in a paper lined paper box. Much better than those plastic pancake trays.Parking: Lots of easy to access free parking spaces.”
