Luscious Bakery Deli Cafe is by far the best bakery I have ever been to. Unfortunately I live in California and can only go to the bakery when I’m visiting Sauble Beach. Not only are the baked goods absolutely incredible but the customer service is second to none. I really cannot explain the extent they go to to help their customers. This is not a solicited review, and I have no vested interest in this business other than to hope they are around for many years.

Re: Breakfast boat. Peppermint white chocolate cruffin. Chocolate avalanche (my spouse’s favourite). As a privileged husband of a baker, it was a pleasant surprise to see my in-situ cook’s eyes light up with these December 9 creations. I’m only disappointed that the store has to close after Xmas (reopen Easter, 2024). Expensive ingredients are used at Luscious… so expect to pay a premium, eh.Parking: 3-4 spots directly in front of the store. Respect the signage to its sides.Wheelchair accessibility: Off season? Plenty of parking, eh. Obey the signage.

First, the food. Amazing baked goods, like Chocolate Croissants, Brownies, breads, and meat pies, to name a few. Delicious, reasonably priced, and some of the best I have ever tasted. Second, parking: There is none. Walk if you can, or leave someone in your car to plead your case. Third, access: tight once you get inside. Customers line up at the counter and move along as they make their selection, until they reach a very entertaining cashier. I think they have coffee, and they might have small tables and chairs, but I didn't get coffee or use seating. No washroom I saw, not wheelchair accessible. Seems to be a Sauble Beach tradition. I'll be back.

I love the scones of the day, especially the blueberry lemon. Hubby liked the perogi pizza. We've only been 2 times. Many different pastries. Closed Monday and Tuesdays. We will be going again before we leave. Cheers

Oh my goodness I wish I could come back and eat more options here. There are SO many options! And they all look freaking delicious. The chocolatine was so chocolatey and fresh. The coffee was a solid accompaniment to the treats. Unfortunately there is not enough space for sit down for its popularity but it is a small price to pay for a lovely baked fresh good. The bakers seem patient and well managed and overall a clean and well organized location.
This is one of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to. Over the course of 4 days in Sauble we tried almost everything they sell. I laughed at some reviews complaining about prices - everything here seems like it’s made from scratch and by hand! The prices were insanely low knowing how much time, energy and quality ingredients went into the items we ordered.For the love of God please try their Portuguese tarts.Amazing service and love the guy at the front. The owners should be very proud !

See my review from 2016 below. This joint offers some of the finest pastries, cookies and confections not just in Sauble, but in the province. Again, the missus and I stocked up on the beef, turkey and tortierre frozen pies for consumption over winter, because you won't find this quality at a grocery store. The sweet Maries, and peninsular pie (when you can get one) are killer. Pleasant staff, fun atmosphere in a venue where you can watch them make their delights, it's why we return at least twice a year.
