“Honestly I don't have much to say about the food other than there seemed to be plenty of variety and options. I would like to review Brittany (Big Mama!) who hosted the axe throwing for our daughter's birthday party. She was very friendly and seemed to make a point of coaching the kids in a way that would make them succeed but also have a great time. She also went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed, and was very approachable. An extra table was brought over just for us because our party was fairly large. Can't say enough great things about Brittany, she absolutely went above and beyond to make sure the party went smoothly. Another little shout out to the bartenders. We had multiple drink spills (toddlers) and they rushed over to help us each time and didn't make us feel bad about making messes (even though we did anyway). Thank you for the great time!Parking: The parking lot is pretty terrible.“

“Me, my son, my sister from Arizona and her partner went here to have some drinks so we could spend some time together. It was a great little bar. My son and I live in Vancouver but my sister was staying at my brother's in Mulino so I found this little place, the bartender was very sweet, she was extremely busy and doing her best to keep up with everyone cause it was the day before the 4th of July. My sister wants me to go back and get 2 tank tops and a t-shirt to send to them because they liked the bar so much. It was a place that we will definitely revisit.“

“This is a small bar that does everything right. Food is fresh and well made, punching far above bar expectations. Drinks are timely, reasonably priced and prompt. The pool tables are maintained and a quality environment. The service staff is what you look for, present, approachable and very polite.“

“Taqueria Nueve may be gone forever, but the food, atmosphere, and spirit live on at OC Taco! Like Better Call Saul, OC Taco retains the best of the former, offers a few new twists and turns, and comes out a winner. We found our favorite drinks to be the same, but the new salsa was in a single dish, spicy but amazingly flavorful. While the tacos and enchiladas verde were familiar, the beet platter was not but surprisingly tasty. Thanks for the enjoyable Sunday evening meal. We'll be back soon.“

“EVERYTHING about this place is amazing!! Our server was Phenomenal. He made sure everything was perfect the hole time. For me and my four kids. It was only like $90 bucks. A drink with mine.and each kid got a Shirley Temple. Can’t wait to take a trip back down. Will have to make this restaurant a main stop.“

“Fuego Underground is indeed "Fire!" I've been to dozens of Speakeasy establishments in New York, Las Vegas, and even in Central America. Fuego Underground has easily become a top 5 favorite experience for me!It isn't secreted behind an unmarked door or hidden behind a business front, but it has an authentic feel of a Speakeasy from the 20s and 30s. The servers are dressed as flappers, and the interior of the Underground beneath De Fuego bar attached to the Monarch hotel in Clackamas is opulent yet tasteful and reminiscent of the era. There is live piano music at opening, and smooth jazz trios and featured artists later in the evening. The service is on point. Everyone embraces the spirit of the experience being created within the Fuego Underground. The cocktails are heavily weighted toward the whiskey and bourbon drinking crowd, yet all drinks are given the prohibition era spin in presentation. The entrees are predominantly various cuts of beef with some exceptions, and they are of equal quality to any high-end steak house in Portland. The sides are varied and better than most compared to, say, El Goucho or Ringside. I had a Gâteau au Chocolat for desert that was delicious! (even though I had to take it home and eat it 2 hours later for being so full!)Overall, it was an amazing experience! If you love a good Speakeasy, you HAVE to try Fuego Underground. If you just like great steaks and craft cocktails, this is a hidden gem with easy parking, but reservations are recommended. This place is popular and for very good reason.“

“Highly recommend the food. The service staff seem to be evolving and not particularly well trained. Our server was ten days old. Part of the order forgotten. But, when asked about items on the menu, “I really don't know” was the standard answer. But you can trust this, everything was so fresh and yummy.“

“Zomg.... Drinks and food! Probably 2nd best Mai Tai I've had including multiple Hawaiian islands. Brilliant gnocchi and deviled eggs. The bacon lardons should be an option on every menu item. Lovely atmosphere and incredible service. Truly a gem!Kid-friendliness: There was a kid there..also, we brought our doggos and they were well received.“

“first time here and i really love this place, it has such a welcoming vibe. the staff is knowledgeable of their wines, friendly and nice. You can tell the owner really puts in the effort for the ambience of a this wine shop. At the entrance there are multiple games you can chose from to enjoy your time. I will be coming back again. My advice is just take your coat off and stay awhile.“

“We've been here a few times in the last few months and are always happy. The roasted red pepper soup was amazing! The other dishes were all super tasty. The service is always quick and kind. The food has always been fast but also very well plated and tasty. Even though one half is a bar, the all age dining area is not loud. Street parking was plentiful.“
“I really like Holy Ghost, because it is good people watching and they have a big selection of mezcal, as well as low/no alcohol, if you're into that kind of thing! The interior is pretty huge and open, with very cool art. It's just got a cool vibe. The downside is that both times, me and friends have had to stalk and then retreat to the small patio space the instant any seats opened up, pretty much because it is SO LOUD. As in, hurting our ears and requiring yelling and we can't have a conversation loud. I guess this makes us sound like old people, lol, but it does detract from me being able to recommend it wholeheartedly. Another thing about the patio; you will likely end up sharing your table with strangers if you are not a large party. Which is fine, it just more speaks to the fact that the patio is always packed. Parking is pretty easy as it's in a very neighborhood zone. I've never ordered but it's nice that you can get a bite to eat from the neighboring small business.“

“Came here for dessert for my adult son's birthday. It was a first time. They were full, but the hostess seated us at a counter where we could observe the kitchen/chefs. We had a great time. The food is fantastic. The bakery and desserts are incredible! My son said it was his best birthday in years. We will be back. The chef staff is precision, a blast to watch.“
“Very friendly. Their butter caramel’s are delicious. Nice selection. They have a lot of variety packed into their home storefront. I will go back !!!Wheelchair accessibility: No designated access parking, there is a threshold at doorway which would be somewhat difficult for wheelchair users to navigate. Showroom floor limited and would be difficult for electric wheelchair users to move around in.?“
“Wildfire and apple cider is so good. Had to buy a case.“

“Luckily, we decided to go around 5pm on a Saturday bc it got very busy soon after. The sushi was fresh and service was great. The California roll had real crab. It's dark inside, like a lounge (since it IS one) and the decor is "interesting". Not my choice of music but it might be for some. We are non-drinkers so can't comment on the drinks.“
“We had a fantastic time at Fire Eats. We've always ordered take out and enjoyed it, so we decided to go in person. We ordered a Spider roll and a Savannah roll and both were handled with a lot of care, as usual. Our wonderful server, AJ, recommended the lemon grass chicken so we ordered that and the TukTuk noodles. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. I also ordered a Thai Margarita, which is perfect for someone who enjoys a good margarita but the smokiness of Sake. Overall a 5 out of 5 experience.“

“COVID puts a crimp on fairly assesing any venue. Given that, this place is stellar! No sit down dining, no bar service - no matter! I admit I was skeptical seeing the meticulously bottled cocktails to go but WOW. I've enjoyed many a good Manhattans all over the Portland area and beyond, but this one - their Brooklyn Manhattan stands far above the rest. They're doing so much more than the conventional 2 parts whiskey to I one part sweet vermouth with the bitters. They're doing up some alchemy here and it works! We weren't out tonight for some fancy dining - just a night to enjoy a simple drink outside and maybe a bite or two to follow. We opted for the sausage pizza. We thought the cocktails were devine? Ha - the pizza we shared exceeded our expectations! What set it off for us was the flavorful placement of fresh ricotta cheese throughout. Not so much as to overpower, and not at all skimpy. Perfection. Just like their drinks. What I love about this place is their attention to the harmony of the flavors. So naturally, we had to go to the dessert menu to fully round the experience. Like the Manhattan, anybody can place a cannoli on a menu and call it good. But like everything else we tried, they turned the dial up to eleven. The cannoli is appropriately crunchy on the outside, and amazingly rich with the ricotta filling seasoned with, I'm guessing cardamom and orange? Whatever they prepare here - it rises far beyond Stumptown standard of cream cheese. We're enthusiastic to share our experience and eagerly look forward to trying all the rest of the dishes!“

“Solid beer (I tried the kolsch which was crisp and refreshing). Spacious interior. On-site and street parking were both plentiful on an early Sunday afternoon. Super friendly staff and excellent, fast service! They checked on me throughout my stay and made me feel very welcomed.Takeout wasn't available for a whole pie of their pizza week special (Butcher's Bolognese) but I think it is for their standard pies. Not a big deal - I dined in and ate a couple slices so my partner, who wasn't with me, could also try it later. Great flavors. I do prefer a saltier cheese to really maximize that Detroit-style approach, but am glad to have tried out Assembly Brewing.I'll be back with friends for more bites and brews!“

“I have been there a couple of times, the food and drinks are great, and I love the prickly pear margarita they have. One time I was with a bigger group and we had great service from somebody who was newly hired, another time I was there with a friend and we had a different server who was more on the passive aggressive, unfriendly side. Maybe she was just having a bad day, the place is nice so I am willing to give her another chance.“

“Great service, perfectly cooked salmon! I myself had the duck, duck is hard and this was prepared to perfection, absolutely delicious and a nice twist, with the breast leg and thigh all on one plate! I would highly recommend the duck, the vegetables- fruits, & balsamic, vinaigrette, and olive oil on the plate, complemented the duck perfectly!“

“Fantastic dining experience; facetted dishes by one kitchen executed well. My party tried many different dishes, they were excellent. Dessert kept the tempo of the rest of the dinner by being equally exquisitely delectable as the rest of the dishes.Foie gras dumpings, the JoJo's, the hazelnut Mille-feuille , the Crab lagoon dip!!!!!“
