The menu seems to be a bit "basic" but it doesn't matter. The scent of the food cooking would make anyone's mouth water. ?.Vegetarian options: Broccoli ? or corn ?Kid-friendliness: Finger food like fries of some sort, mini pulled pork sandwiches or let the little ones learn how to dig into a small rack of ribs!
The food is delicious!! I usually order the 1/2 chicken with extra sauce and it's always been generous size portions. Their baked beans are mixed with chic peas and are super delicious. They also have pulled pork, ribs, a few hot side dishes (Mac and cheese, nice size dinner rolls) and cold sides as well (Cole slaw, potato salad and pasta salad) and Sweet potato pie. Fast and easy to order. Came during lunch rush and our food was ready exceptionally fast! Wonderful food! One of the great gems of Route 22!Parking: Entrance and exit is only on East/North 22/199 side of highway, so a little tricky to get to.
