“My first review was only a 2 star I was a bit hangry when posting it due to a bit of a salty burger and pressed for time.In all fairness i was wrong in a knee jerk reaction to an overall 5 star experiencefor all the other visits i had in the past.The owner genuinely cares and will always ask "How was your meal,did you enjoy everything"All the other sandwiches honestly have been spot on!! #porkitialino#“

“I was interested in trying a traditional Philadelphia Cheesesteak....they serve exactly what I was looking for. The meat was good the cheese to meat portion was good, and all melted in there..my only complaint was the serving size was way to big...a half of sandwich was all I could eat..being so large, the price like the sandwich was 2 x too high.. They serve bottled Birch Root beer, which is excellent.“

“First....the menu is HUGEEEE. but it's ALL AMAZING. I live an hour away but will no doubt be driving back there for more food. If you're ever near bensalem....even if your not, you need to go here. “Delicious gluten free food! We live in Philly so have been hearing about Jay’s for a while, but it’s an hour from where we live so never made it. We finally drove out in that direction to pick pumpkins a few weeks ago and oh my gosh, Jay’s is so good! I don’t have celiac but my wife does, and it was so so great for her to be able to have the food she had been missing. She asked if we could go back the next weekend. :) thank you thank you for all your hard work.“

It is a food stand where you may watch Bernie through the window while he makes your sandwich.Good roll, good meat, yummy veggies. Saw previous review and just want to mention that the roll was seeded.“

“We bought 6 hoagies at a great value of just under $100... Don't mock the price: I'm a big time foodie... The hoagies are huge... Damn near 2 foot looking... They are the best I've had yet... “Ordered through Grubhub. Food came really quick, just as ordered. The cheesesteak & fries were on point, just enough steak with American cheese on a really good roll. Fries were crisp on the outside and sofet on the inside, reminded us of the old McDonald' fries, but much better.I had the chicken gyro platter, also really good, though I paid for extra red & white sauce, and it didn't feel like there was extra.The food overall was fresh and good, we'll definitely be ordering from them again.“

“Takeout review - the food was great and hot upon delivery. The wings were fantastic (garlic Buffalo) absolutely would get again. Their vegan menu is great. The fried pickles were very soggy but we'll blame that on the takeout travel. Out of a dozen wings 11 of them were flats..not the biggest deal but that may matter to some people. The lost star is because I paid extra for extra blue cheese and wound up getting no blue cheese at all. Why ask what sauce I want if you're not going to include it? And why give the option of charging for "extra" when you include none in the first place? Fortunately the great taste of the food made up for that miscue.“
