“This was our first time here, and we were thoroughly impressed.We were greeted at the door by a smell of cleaning product which makes you feel good about how well a place is kept up. The interior was trendy and well lit. The place was very clean and organized.The server was tremendous. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful when it came to choosing our entrees.The food was the show stopper. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and well crafted on the plate. There is a great variety of dishes to chose from and even something for vegetarians.Overall great experience!!”

“During Lent Season, we frequent Big Mike's Crabhouse on a Friday, typically late afternoon. We try to beat the crowd, as this restaurant is not that big, but the seafood is absolutely delicious! Service is always excellent!!!! Big Mike's is a very relaxed atmosphere! They are a BYOB, so you can bring your favorite adult beverages if you choose to do so!!! If you choose to have an entree, but do not wish to have the sides, they will adjust the price! I love their cod fish (2 pieces), but don't always want the French fries, etc., they will serve you just the fish and adjust your bill accordingly. The pound of shrimp is always cooked to perfection, we have our shrimp served with melted butter and cocktail sauce, so delicious!!! If you're in Hanover and love seafood, stop by!!!!”

“What can I say but Holy Cow the sushi was incredible!!!! The dessert fried cheesecake my girlfriends favorite dessert ever ,her words. The sushi chefs are masters in their craft.”

“My wife and I figured that we would go out for lunch today since we haven't gone on an impromptu date for a while. We have been to this location before and enjoyed the experience.The only reason I didn't give the service five stars is due to the receptionist that greeted us. Well, she tried maybe in her way. No smile, couldn't have cared less if we were there or not.She was very short and abrupt with us. After showing us to our table, we both said thank you. All we got was a straight face and a stare back and then she walked away to go do her thing.I get it. Customer service is a hard job for anyone nowadays. I'm a first responder and I can totally understand what it means to not be appreciated at all. But when someone extends kindness and is polite, you need to reciprocate that. Granted, she may have just been having a bad day and I get it. We all do. But in customer service, you always go that extra mile to smile and make the customer feel welcome and they're appreciated. If you can't do that, then perhaps a different line of work is needed.In view of that, we would go back again. The food was done just right. I always get a steak there and it was cooked exactly like I ordered. Well done.”

“Pay no attention to Dwight Hollenbach’s review. If you’re smart enough to read and realize they don’t offer table service, you won’t have a reason to be disappointed. Something Wicked has the best beer around and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always striving to meet the needs of their patrons. They offer great food, weekly music acts, and nearly monthly Bloody Mary brunches that will make you want to return again and again. So you had to wait a few extra minutes for a delicious craft beer?? You poor thing…home and drink your Natty.”

“I go for the Veal Francaise. Hubby goes for the Prime Rib Ravioli. Joe was the chef at another establishment where we first tasted his food. When we learned he opened up his own place in Hanover, we followed the food! His foccacia is to die for!!! We always get boxes to take home left overs because the portions are so generous!”

The French fries are my favorite kind with the crunchy outside texture. Kabobs are what they’re known for and the S.O. just ordered the lamb kabobs for the third time in a row. “A friend and I went to eat here on a Tuesday for lunch. It was very full indicating that the service and food must be great. We waited only about 5 minutes to be seated. We received our menus, orders our drinks and food, and only had to wait 15 or so minutes on the food to be made. Fast friendly service for how busy the place was. Good food as well. Recommended.”

There are always high-end ice cream shops to splurge on but if you stop at York Street Treats you get great soft serve ice cream at a reasonable price. Our chocolate dipped vanilla soft serve cones were outstanding. Nice location, easy to get in and out with good parking. Best of all it is a very affordable. Stop by and get your soft serve at York Street Treat's.”

“One of the nicest places to eat breakfast in Hanover. The food is always excellent, especially the pancakes and the coffee. The staff there is outstanding. The waitresses are so friendly, efficient, and always seem to go the extra mile to make sure that my visit to their restaurant met all of my expectations. I tend to order mostly the same breakfast each time I go there and the one waitress seems to know what I am going to order without me even telling her. That is an excellent waitress who pays attention to her customers. The restaurant is always very clean and I simply enjoy the atmosphere and the food. Highly recommend this Perkins Restaurant!!”

“My husband and I came here for date night. The building is old and refurbished and beautiful. We ordered the goat cheese apple pecan salads, the cayenne butter bread, the sausage and meatballs with burrata and the pan roasted salmon. We also had the linzer cookies, chocolate mousse, and frozen key lime pie. All of the food was delicious. Especially the salmon. The only thing that was kind of bland was the cayenne butter for the bread. Otherwise everything was great. We will return.”

“Did not live in the area when I was younger but remember visiting my aunt nearby and my mother and I would go for walks. We came across this little shop and fell in love with the soft pretzels. Fast forward 20 years and I moved to the area and whenever I am out for a walk nearby I still stop in for a soft pretzel. Love that they have a freezer full for take home.”

“My Wife and i had tried some of the Aldus beers before and fell in love with them. We decided to take a trip to the brewery all the way from Philadelphia and i cannot say enough how much it was worth the trip! The beer selection was incredible, we came for the Pretzel Wheat beer but got to try so many others! The staff was so knowledgeable and really made the experience so much fun. However the star of the experience was the owner Jason! When we told him that we traveled to the brewery he gave us the full Aldus treatment! He told us interesting facts about the beers and the Aldus brand, gave some history behind the beers, and you could tell he is very passionate about his beers! We had an incredible time, and we are super excited for Aldus to open its new Brew pub location! 5 stars all around!”

Your custom cake and cupcakes were a show-stopper. ***I ordered a Highland Cow 6” cake (peanut butter mousse with chocolate icing) and sixty plus highland cow cupcakes (yellow, chocolate and pumpkin flavors) to supplement. The butter cream frosting had the perfect combination of flavor, smooth texture with just the right amount of sweet. The cake and cupcakes were fresh and moist (even after I had them in the refrigerator for an extended amount of time). The Cake Bar captured the perfect amount of frosting to cake ratio. Each treat was and simply scrumptious. The cake and cupcakes were delicately decorated and exploding with “WOW”. Your skill, creativity and artistic talent are remarkable. Each cupcake and the cake were a work of art of their own. From my initial inquiry, working through a concept and to final delivery, I was given a really personalized and professional service. Unlike most American ice cream, the ice cream here is not too sweet. The ice cream here has a high fat content, which makes it creamy. I found it perfect.You’ll also find some unusual flavors here (like apricot or rum and raisin). The owner reassured me that the high fruit content imparts the vivid coloration to the ice cream (not artificial color). The ice cream itself here is beautiful.The owner here is very friendly. Although the portions here were not overwhelming large, the prices here are ridiculously reasonable for what you get in return.”

“The crabs are always great and the Snowballs 2. Can't wait for them to open up this summer. my family's been getting crabs there for years. Coming from south of the Mason-Dixon line in my thirties it was the one thing that I missed Old Bay blue crabs from the Eastern Shore. Now living here and being adopted as a Pennsylvania and almost 28 years agoI found a few decent seafood places. However, I don't think any compare and have as good a taste as Crab Shack! Plus they were my first Saving Grace for crabs. As well been making them taste great for the last 25 years! this is a family-run business and both wife Lori who runs the snowball end of the business and her husband the crabs are wonderful hard-working people and always a pleasure to deal with. over the last 10 yearsif you were a regular customer you even seen the son and daughter putting time in helping their parents at the business. They always seem to find great young peopleto maintain the business in the evenings at the snowball stand. Always busy kicking out snowballs, cones, an ice cream sundaes to customers lined across the parking lot quickly,courteously, while always wearing a smile and being friendly. The staff or usually alwayswonderful promising young peoplethat are primed to be the potential of our communityand is wonderful as the small business owners who employed in here! kudos to a wonderful establishment. For example, $26 for 24 wings from Giovanni’s through site but Door Dash charges $36 for the same wings and that’s with their DD+ membership.Support local businesses and order your pizza from Giovanni’s.”

“Sure people complain about the pretzels being overdone, but little do these imbeciles realize that they can get overcooked and there isn't nothing they can do about. "Boohoo I got another hard pretzel after I told the person about getting a hard pretzel" it's because it was a whole batch you pox!The service is great and they do their damnest to serve good pretzels. I've only had a couple pretzels overdone but most of them have been cooked very well.”

“It's not the Nicest Place, but its never overcrowded & the prices are not that bad if you know how to find it in the BoonDocks! I'd recommend hanging out there. There is plenty of off street parking across the street. (Thats the one complaint, the owner is obsessed with having people towed from "his parking lot" god forbid should you not want to drive drunk. Or should a neighbor park there for a little bit, when a bar with happy neighbors means having a good eye kept on place for breakins in the bar and customers cars instead of pissing off neighbors who may say oh well not my problem!)”

“I'm a long-time visitor of chilli's, I love the food, and the staff is always understanding and attentive. The only reason I rated the atmosphere a 1 is not because of the workers, but because my wife, and my 3 kids (under 5 mind you) and I were seated next to a larger party. The adults (4 or 5 in total) in this party were super obnoxious, and they let their kids (6 in total ages around 5 to 12) literally sit in the WINDOW ledges and STAND on the chairs and run around the table with little to no supervision. I understand that it was one of their birthdays, but that doesn't excuse poor parenting and obnoxious behavior ( for example, excessive volume in talking and yelling over one another) in a public setting. They created an unpleasant environment for my family and myself. I'm no "Karen," but there are some things that's should just be common sense. My 5 year old acted way more mature then all of them and that's saying a lot.”

“I highly recommend this location. I went there tonight for my anniversary and they are very kind, professional and the food taste amazing. The atmosphere is very up beat. I liked the music and the colorful lights and decorations are beautiful to look at. I was greeted Right away and taken to a table. The menu has many options and they are happy to explain any dishes if you are unfamiliar or a first time customer. You can not go wrong with the fruit smoothies. They have one of the freshest fruit smoothies in all of York. The price is a bit high however it is 100% worth it. I hope that my review inspires people to pay them a visit. My husband had their beef fried rice and said it's the hands down best fried rice he has had in all of Hanover. We have been waiting for months for this location to open up and I'm so happy that I got to spend tonight enjoying a very deliousicus meal and experience.”

“Ate at Chili's last night with a large party (17 ppl) and everything was great. Our server was very good and the drinks were perfect. Great margaritas! “Food was absolutely amazing as always, this is a stable and we brought our family here to try it. The server wasn’t pleasant and they seemed to fix the issue giving us a new server and we didn’t even have to say anything. The first server also messed up our pizza which they fixed and expedited the order. Other than that service issue the food was so so good and fresh, very big portions for a good price and they had karaoke night which was fun to listen to!”
