“This place is old, allows smoking, has cheap domestic beer on tap, sells pickled red beet eggs two for a dollar and a half, has surly barmaids, and is filled with half drunk locals, in other words, the perfect bar. Dive in yourself you won't be disappointed.”

“It was a fun atmosphere the girl at the bar had it going on. I thought she was the bar manager but when I asked her if she is the bar manager she asked me if I’d like to speak to the bar manager. “Cracker Barrel is my comfort food place. It’s known for its southern country style, both in its decorations and food. It was a rainy day, but I was hungry. We got seated immediately, but it was still decently crowded- expect a wait around 6-6:30 pm. I tried the new Golden Carolina BBQ Tenders with steak fries. The BBQ sauce was perfectly tangy and paired well with the fries- needless to say, I finished it all. The atmosphere was nice and service was fast. Prices are great for the amount of food you get. Of course, there’s more than just food. The gift shop has an assortment of mostly patriotic clothing and decorations and some signature sauces. Outside is a patio with checkerboards and rocking chairs that you can relax in while you wait to be seated. Cracker Barrel is always a consistent hit.”

“I turned to The Buttered Crumb for my daughters’ sweet sixteen birthday cake and cupcakes and as promised they did not disappoint. The flavors of all the cupcakes and cake were absolutely delicious and perfect, as I knew they would be! Our guests raved about how delicious everything was and I cannot thank everyone at The Buttered Crumb enough!”

“Great college town eatery/bar! Stopped in on a Friday night for dinner and it did not disappoint! Seating was easy, staff was super friendly and food was AMAZING!! I'm typically a BBQ snob, but they are on point here! Brisket, pulled pork, smoked meatloaf, burgers all so good! Will definitely be stopping back on our next visit!”

“Stopped in for lunch and restaurant was busy, but we were seated right away. Service was fast and friendly.My husband started with a cup of soup ( Shrimp Bisque) it was very good. We both had sandwiches. My burger was good ( frozen patty) the fries were delicious! Husband had the Rachel and Dutch fries served with vinegar on the side. Both were very good. Restaurant is in a shopping center and on the smaller size. Plenty of parking.”

“Went on Saturday March 30 with three adults, Two Toddlers and an Infant. The host and waiter were extremely friendly and personable! Can’t say enough about how good of an experience we had! Staff was kind and accommodating to our party and the food was delicious! Great place and I will definitely be returning and recommending this place again and again!!Kid-friendliness: Thy have high chairs and a chair to put your infant seat on! All the staff was mindful of the children and very kind, plus they gave the toddlers crayons!Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair ramp / baby stroller ramp, and a huge parking lot!”

“Our bartender (Sam, If I remember correctly) was SO wonderful and attentive. We enjoyed our fair share of craft beer and had some of the BEST dry rub wings here.We really enjoyed the Trusted Companion / ESB brew - but they had plenty of great stouts, IPAs, etc. on the menu. Definitely worth making a stop!We are also visiting from out of town and noticed that the people are just generally very friendly. If you are planning a trip from out of town - this is certainly THE place to stop!”

“Driven by a number of times and never lined up to stop, today it did. Hands down, it's excellent. Superb burgers and sandwiches, proper chips that would make any Brit proud, and spot-on beers. They obviously know what they're doing and they're knocking it out of the park. If you've been to Schaylor's or Sly Fox, this is on par both food and beer-wise. I like the here more... we'll be back.”

“If you know, you know. 1787 is nestled into downtown Hamburg so it's a bit off the beaten path. That said, I think of it as a well kept secret. The atmosphere is rustic and very inviting. The staff are all extremely friendly. The service is prompt and very attentive and the food and drink options are varied and excellent. My most recent visit was my fourth time there and my wife's first and we left the restaurant with full bellies and feeling like 1787 is a place that we'll return to over and over again.”

“We ordered a variety of empanadas to try out. They were a nice large size and everything was really tasty. My personal favorite was the beef. The seafood was also good - I feel like I want to dip it in something but haven’t figured out what would be ideal yet. We had some left over and they also reheated very well.
