“I can’t post pics bc we ate all the food and licked the plate! ????♀️ we ran in here in a pinch between stops and it did not disappoint. We got goat baryani and Aloo tikki chaat. The place is bigger than it looks on the outside, is very clean and calm, the staff (and owner) were easy to work with and offered food samples and suggestions. They had a good North Indian food selection. We will def make this our go to when we are in the Robinson area. ?“

“Incredible and authentic chaat! My husband was born and raised in India and we have always said that we wished there was somewhere in Pittsburgh that just sold chaat and snack items. We were blown away by the pani puri and the Bombay sev sandwich. The restaurant gives you a proper Indian dhaba feel. Will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends!“

“Excellent food, Great service, very clean place. Prices are amazingly low. Had Dinner today and felt really satisfied. Can comfortably conclude that it is perhaps one of the three best Indian Restaurants in Pittsburgh!“

“We loved it. Delicious and well served food. The place is cozy and the service is good and clean. The people are very friendly and they help you choose if you are not familiar with the food. My 6 year old son loved the dumplings. I definitely recommend it :)“

“Great food and good portions. I’ve never had palak paneer with tomato curry before but it was really good. Just what I needed on this dreary Pittsburgh day. Also they had a sign on the truck apologizing for raising their prices. Idk what that’s about because I got a large entree (curry, rice, and naan) and a drink for less than $10 and the food is gonna last me another meal.“

“the food is pretty good... but the service is Horrible!! Super slow... no smiles or greetings if you're not Indian. One guy waits on the whole dining room is completely rude and non-verbal... I decided to order to-go last night instead of being ignored in the dining room again and they said 40 minutes... I waited an hour and a half for it! the guy tried to put a Diet Coke for free instead of an apology... I dont even drink Diet Coke. The food is fine but they dont care about the customers at all!“

“Anyone who knows me, knows I love supporting small local businesses. The food was outstanding, but I was surprised at the plastic flatware/napkin in a sealed plastic bag and not real stainless steel flatware. Prices were inline with other Indian restaurants I have been to. Unfortunately, it's street parking in an already crowded street because of apartments. Would I recommend? Absolutely. Would I go back in the future? You bet I would!“

“Pleasantly Surprised! Before I go on about the food, I have to give credit to the young man who was our cashier. He explained everything since it was our first time in a very concise and patient manner. Very affable personality! The food: I got the lamb which was excellent but next time I'm going to get the chicken as they're grilled on a kebab in ceramic barrels. The brown rice and veggies were perfect. It comes with one sauce, but I got 3 additional as they're only $.35 each. I'd do it again. Tamarind Apple was my fave but I'd still get the other 3 again (I don't like Ranch, I'm not a yinzer.). I also got a side of naan. Excellent as well. I'm looking forward to this being a regular spot when we want something quick and effortless.“

“They have the longest chawwal (rice) in town. I could eat it on its own with my bare hands off a plate like im 5yrs old again, but it goes really well with the channa saag or Daal Tarka. Ive had the chicken karhai (OK, not really the way I like it), and the chicken makhni as well (too sweet). They dont overload their dishes with too much butter like other Desi restaurants in town. I'd recommend the owners to reduce the number of menu items, though. Otherwise I'm a big fan, Pakistani Approved ??Vegetarian options: The daal tarka is excellent“

“For those who enjoy Indian food, I highly recommend Bombay to Burgh. This "home cooking" restaurant came highly recommended by our neighbors as well as @alexeatstoomuch. It's a small place in Swissvale, just a few minutes off the Parkway East. We opted for the Sunday buffet. Plenty of selections and a VERY reasonable price! The food was excellent!“
