New American Restaurants near Washington, PA

“Had to give The Lab five stars due to the absolutely out of this world food! My husband and I travel all over the country, mainly seeking out destination restaurants and let me tell you the food here is on par with that of the some most prestigious places across the country. My husband said he would rate the ribeye in his top five EVER! Other dishes are creative and delicious as well. Very cool atmosphere, makes you forget you are in Washington while you are dining. I will mention service could have been much more polished to match the food and ambiance. The majority of our question about the dishes where met with an “I’m not sure” from our server. Not really acceptable to not know the menu frontward and backwards when trying to deliver a fine dining experience. However the quality of the food and cocktails helped us over look the lack luster service. So ecstatic that this restaurant is in our neighborhood. Blows away ANYTHING Pittsburgh has to offer! We will return soon!“

“This is my kids favorite place for chocolate milk and baked goods. We have been coming here for years and the cozy country store atmosphere has remained the same. The boys love the ice cream cones in the summer! If the cows are out we will head over and walk along the fence.“

“Food was perfectly served. Service was excellent. Ambiance was great right before there were any games on the tele. PB Reuben was perfectly toasted bread, juicy meats, layered to question my abilities to even start a recommendation that was spot on and delicious. I'm a big fan of the coleslaw. The fires were ok, since I felt the onion rings couldn't be beat.“

“I live in triadelphia wv, which is only a few miles from this place, but I'm very impressed with the food and service. Not to mention the fun location this bar has, as in the rout to take plus finding other places along the way.. I highly recommend giving this bar a try....“

“Travelling through Pittsburgh- there was a hockey game on and a brewery seemed to check all the boxes. And did it ever. Riley was fabulous helping us choose the right beer and laughed as I pulled a face at my husband’s choice. Pizza was delicious and if you love roasted garlic - get it!!! Beautifully caramelized and generous amounts. Love it when a random choice turns into a fun evening.“
