“I recently worked as a photographer at this bar/restaurant space that was being used for a wedding. There is a small space in the back thats great for pictures and small parties. They also have a bar upstairs and ample parking across the street. The appetizers were delicious and creative. Its a nice venue to hold a small event or to have drinks/dinner.“

I chose the Acapulco Fish Tacos with Mahi Mahi, mango, avocados, greens. They were absolutely delicious. I will be returning to try other amazing menu choices.“

“I liked this place. I went with my siblings on a week night and it still had a good many people inside. The place has a nice atmosphere with soft lighting and plenty of seating. The seating was primarily two person tables so it struck me as a more intimate setting or even a place to get some work done on a laptop, not a place for a large group. I ordered an espresso martini and it was fine, but a little heavy on the vodka, I thought it could have had a more well balanced profile. My brother and sister had the Rising Sun and the Gold Rush. They said they were pretty similar but the Gold Rush had a stronger alcohol flavor, but both were tasty. The service was really friendly and helpful. I like that they had a water tap with reusable cups available so you don't have to buy a water bottle or something. The bathroom is very spacious and clean, but there is only one in the place. I don't think that's a huge deal but it is nice to know. They sell their own whisky which is cool, my brother bought a bottle and we are excited to try it. As far as pricing goes, it's pretty standard for a place like this. $13 or so per cocktail, and between $5-$7 per coffee drink. Not a lot of food options, pastries mostly it seemed, so don't go in there with an empty stomach. Overall, Char & Stave is a nice place to grab a coffee or a cocktail or both, and have a nice intimate get together with a friend or two, and maybe even try some local whiskey. If you're in the area, I'd recommend it.“

“I’ve now been to Cigar Republic 3 times in the past 30 days. Each time has been a great experience. The team there from the top and throughout are pleasant, accommodating and help to create a relaxed environment. The patrons are the same. I’m mulling over becoming a member.Suggestion, read the rules prior to going as there are no outside cigars allowed. That’s ok because their humidor room has a great selection.*while food is not served, they do allow for deliveries from surrounding restaurants*“

I described what type of drinks I like, and they came up with recommendations for me. This place is a great addition to Lancaster Ave! “Visited to prepare for an upcoming event and decided to have dinner. The service from the time I was seated was best in class. My hostess Cheryl was so friendly and professional getting me settled at my table. My server Mr. Relace was absolutely amazing. I had a few items from the menu. Baby back ribs with sweet potato fries, Atlantic Salmon with seasonal vegetables. A nice potato soup with Prosciutto garnish. The cocktails were poured generously. To top things off I had bread pudding soaked in Markers burbon with French vanilla ice cream. The entire experience was priced very well and I recommend as a hidden gem for fine dining.“

She informed me that I needed to pick three meals and two starters for my menu. I had the room for 2 hours and it was so much fun! Checking out was easy and everything went the way we planned it. “I've visited Paladar quite a few times in the past, but always for brunch. This was my first dinner experience with them, and we came on Cinco de Mayo so it was quite busy. However, our waitress Emily was great. She made great recommendations and checked on us a lot. Our entrees were quite delicious — my friend for the rum glazed pork and I got the lamb burger. We made small substitutions based on the recommendations and were very happy with our meals.“

“This is a great stop if you want a flavor journey. We ordered the duck bao buns, crab and pork soup dumplings, and the Dan dan noodles and we loved it all. The service was great, despite being fairly packed and us not having a reservation they were able to seat us within 10 minutes (honestly fast for how busy they were). I can't say enough nice things about Dan Dan and am looking forward to going back!“

“We've always enjoyed coming here with the whole family. We came looking to make a reservation for an upcoming event. Manager Zee, Michael-owner, the chef, and all staff were all fantastic. The place has really been revamped since our last visit. The ambience is beautiful, the lounge is cozy, the bar looks very well set up, including the fireplace. The food was really tasty, just right portions and priced just right..complements to the chef! Looking forward to having a fab night again soon!“
