“Ed Owens review is completely unnecessary and ridiculous. Its St Paddys day obviously their hours are different (like they posted on social media) This is the only Irish Pub within a 40 minute radius... Food is incredible they are handling the volume of clients amazingly and bonus have unreal bands and entertainment... best Irish Pub in Charleston worth the trek out here if you aren't local to Johns Island.“

“If you’re looking for great seafood in Charleston… look no further. Their staff were amazing and the food was great. Some stand outs: seafood tower, Hushpuppies,Shrimp, scallops, fried platter, and drinks. Being a family obsessed with seafood this was a stand out in our opinion.“

“Yes, it is as amazing as the others mentioned. You can stop looking for another cocktail bar now, this is on your must-see/try short list. With some of the best well-crafted balanced cocktails you'll find anywhere, coupled with an amazing staff, you'll want to visit again, trust me.“

“We devoured the most epic dinner at Azur Charleston last night to celebrate our anniversary! If you haven't been, get ready for a taste bud explosion! We started with fancy cocktails that made us feel like high rollers, then feasted on an Azur burger with beef braised in burgundy on a croissant bun - it was like a party in our mouths! And don't even get me started on the lamb wrap with Boston lettuce and crème fraiche, it was like a flavor bomb went off! The service was top-notch, especially when we sat at the bar and got entertained by the bartender's fancy mixology tricks. What a night to remember in downtown Charleston!“

“The burger and fries were DIVINE!! There was an outdoor patio by the bar. The bartenders were very knowledgeable and excited to talk about the building and city’s history- it was so nice to talk with them!! I didn’t catch their names but thank you to both of you for all the additional information and conversation!“

“6/5! Visiting Charleston and had an amazing meal here, best of the trip. I ordered the oysters (to die for), scallops (pretty good) and Brussel sprouts (best of my life). My wife got the salmon. We were celebrating our baby moon and they made us feel special with amazing service and free champagne/sparkling cider. Very professional wait staff, excellent vibes and ambiance. Would definitely return! Be sure to get a reservation or show up right when they open.“

“Made a reservation at Maison for our last night in Charleston. It was a wonderful meal from start to finish. Our server Allie was fantastic, lots of detail about flavors and highlights of the menu. The food was great, chef had different takes on classic French dishes. Maison will definitely be on the list of restaurants to visit when we return to Charleston.“

“Swig and Swine has the best barbecue in Charleston! The food and the service are amazing. I usually get the brisket or pork and it is delicious. The staff are very hospitable as well. I’d definitely recommend trying it out if you’re in the area.“

“I would have given this restaurant 5 stars for the food except for the preparation of the garlic shrimp…the taste was spot on but the texture was a little mushy because of all the delicious sauce (the bread dipped in the sauce with lots of capers was a revelation). Maybe there is a way to have the majority of the sauce on the side so the shellfish doesn’t suffer. Caesar salad was among the most unique and delicious I’ve ever had. Really solid meal and the service was superb. Prices were reasonable as well.“

“Out of this world. If you are looking for the best spot in Charleston for a wonderful dinner with your partner, this is the only option. The varied dining locations provide plenty of reason to go back for round 2 as well. All of the staff are super professional and knowledgeable. We were greeted with champagne, a rose, and a card since it was our first anniversary. We dined on the back patio which was nice and secluded with only three tables. Every course was top notch and we paired it with a different one of their phenomenal cocktails for each.Seriously this place can't be beat. Stay at 86 Cannon and go here for as many meals as you can.“

“Our first visit to Folly Beach and I'm so glad we found gems like Jack of Cups. The Asian fusion dishes are a nice twist but the highlight for us was the absolutely heavenly Ube cheesecake. And I like that the description says it's a 'no nonsense' place. Loved the atmosphere.“

“It was our first time at the Citrus Club and we were quite impressed. The roof top is intimate and very comfortable and offers a 360 degree view of the water and Charleston. We had the warm crab dip that was completely lump crab meat and delicious. We also enjoyed , and would highly recommend the rice bowl with jerk chicken and the perfectly prepared grouper sandwich. Kudos both to the chef and our server, Bree, who greatly enhanced our wonderful dining experience. Having been to several others, we vote this the best rooftop bar in Charleston.“

“Stopped in for a few drinks after dinner and this place was perfect for our girls night.Live music was being played in the corner by a solo musician that set a quiet tone while an old Mel Gibson flick played on the wall on the opposite side of the bar. The mood was quiet , quirky and sophisticated. It was refreshing from the “college kid vibe you get from most places after 9pm DT .“

“I apologize if I spell it incorrectly but Kari was our waitress and she was so sweet. New to the south but she answered all my questions about the menu and the King Claw boil was amazing. My mom got their shrimp salad and even having a shrimp with every bite she still had some left over at the end. Great staff. I can't recommend this place enough. Great first meal in Charleston.“

“Great food and service. Our waiter offered suggestions and was attentive. We ordered the smoked fish dip and bread as appetizers, she had the pasta and I had the rice dish. We also had cocktails and wine. All were terrific.I only have one suggestion, to expand or add more variety to the beer list. Not a big deal as everything else was amazing.“

“Cool little place with outdoor seating. We got iced coffees from here almost everyday we were in Charleston. Didn’t try much else but their menu sounded very good. The one other item we did try and recommend are the local pop tarts they sell. They also a ton of premade salads and sandwiches you can grab. You could even pop in for a carton of eggs. Also of plenty of space to pull out your laptop and get some work done.“

“Stepping into Neon Tiger is like stepping into a dream world. The vibe is so wonderous! It's almost like stepping into a relaxing vegan tron-like world. If I am having a bad day, all I have to do is go to Neon Tiger and it is instantly all better! The food is amazing! I have enjoyed all of the staples and the specials and I have tried every item I could. I absolutely love that I don't have to ask for no straw in my drink! I love all the decor! Even if you can't get a table here, sitting at the bar is a pleasure! The staff are so friendly and do a great job of juggling all their duties while giving awesome service! I should have left this updated review ages ago but sometimes words are hard to come by when a feeling is not fleeting. Below you will find my original review in 2020 right after Neon Tiger opened. “Food left me speechless. I can sit here and go over but I want to talk about the innovation that was put into the food. Of course it was good but you can't even put a number on it. You will just have to try it. Worth every penny plus a tip. I didn't really get alcohol but if you want to pair things they have a Somme there for you. The service was top notch even got to speak to the owner. The ambiance matched everything. This was an experience while eating and being served. Just go.“

“The cocktails are fantastic. Whatever your preferred libation pleasure, they can make it or have a rendition of it that's probably better than your standard. The one food option (a Cuban when we were there) was great and a nice little bit of substance to the belly while we continued to order their well crafted drinks.Like others have said, they make quality cocktails efficiently.Definitely hit this spot. “Went on a Monday night excited to try someone else's Paella, other than my family's. What I found was a perfect tapas bar. A perfect tapas bar needs a good ambiance (smooth jazz check [only on Monday night]), good service (very attentive bar tenders and staff, check), good food (only had the paella but all the tapas plates looked and smelled great, check), and a perfect tapas bar need friendly patrons (normally it takes a while to get to know the regulars, but I think everyone came over and talked to me including the musicians, and had great conversations just like I was another regular, check). I highly recommend!“
“Went for brunch with a group that ordered the burger, steak frites, French toast and the eggs benedict. The steak frites and the burger were the standouts, particularly with a foie gras topper. The French toast and Benedict also were excellent if your prefer breakfast items. Crepe cake and creme brûlée were to die for.“

“I've been to ruby slipper and really enjoyed it. This location was ok. I really enjoyed their Bloody Mary but the mimosa flight flavors tasted very artificial. Food was good my avocado toast was exactly how it should be and had the pickled onion on top which is the perfect type of top with capers. The other food was good and eggs cooked the way everyone asked. We sat outside on a lovely day- waitress was able to split our checks!“

“A great little "upscale feel" spot for coffee and a lite bite. Great location on Meeting Street. I would have liked the roaster Intelligentsia to remain but they now serve the Starbucks brand, which was a disappointment. Breakfast and lunch options are available including healthy bites, salads and sandwiches. The outdoor courtyard has seating "under the trees" and is also a nice relaxing area to have a glass of vino mid afternoon!I like the fact that you will be served your coffee in a basic white porcelain cup if staying and not in a paper cup! There are just enough touches to make you feel like you are in more of an elegant cafe setting. The service is friendly and accommodating. The Food and Beverage Manager Patrick circulates around the cafe areas and will ensure that you are totally satisfied.“

“Lovely cafe on a lively street, with indoor seating and a serene courtyard with a water fountain. We visited for the ultimate coconut cake, and it was amazing! There were many tasty options on the menu, so that means we will need to visit again to try a few more things! The staff was nice and welcoming. They had a variety of alcohol and non alcohol drinks. We opted for the non alcohol hibiscus drink. It was refreshing!“

“Lost Isle is a gem! Unique ambiance and patio / fire pit vibe pairs well with the all wood-fired menu. Open kitchen concept is fun to watch. Delicious, innovative cocktail menus and cocktails on tap. The chicken is to die for, as is the curry collards, polenta, and the whipped ricotta. My wife said one of her favorite spots in Charleston at any price! Of course, picking the right night/weather to go is crucial, as this is entirely outdoor seating. Dress appropriately. This is THE woodfired vibe in charleston (most definitely not Southbound, this is half the cost and twice a good!)“
