“Great local coffee shop. better prices and better product than Starbucks. I stop by at least once a week for a cold brew and a pastry.“
“Sure, they have frozen yogurt, and it's good. But those sandwiches! The panini's are freakin' amazing. The Italian, the Roast Beef, the Vermonter... stupid good.“

“Ms. Su yen was very nice and told us everything that was in our delicious teas. Really healthy and it'd nice to know that you can substitute and change the level if sweetness or intensity of flavors! Can't wait to try more products!“
“We had the most amazing oatmeal cream pie that I have ever put in my mouth! The cookie would be delicious by itself, but to take 2 and put some rich cream filling in the center…YUMMY! You have to try these guys, you will not be disappointed!“

“This was a great find! Thought it looked a little unassuming from the outside, but this was a favorite breakfast spot for me. Some of the most friendly staff I've met, and there's so much to choose from the menu. Food was absolutely delicious, and there's a consistently upkept self-serve coffee bar. Quaint and homey. Loved it.“
“The aesthetics of its outdoor seating is probably unrivaled on all of Johns Island for an eating / drinking establishment. It also has a great selection of draft beer, and -- some say -- the best coffee on the island (the jury is out on that).“

“The girl working today was awesome! I was deciding between two sandwiches-she said she personally made the chicken salad and that it was a good batch. Sold. She presented the sandwich and was excited about the beautiful thick red tomato that has finally arrived. I was too! Just fun to see someone enjoy their job and CARE about all aspects of the product. Wish I had gotten her name. You make a Great chicken salad btw.“

“We adored this place! We accidentally found the downtown Charleston location during our stay there at a close AirBNB! We visited 3 times in our 2.5 days there. Then, we passed by the John’s Island location on our way to Kiawah and decided to make the 25 min drive the next morning for our coffee and pop tart fix! Great coffee, service, pastries, toasts and local drink and food finds!“

“A nice respite from the uppity atmosphere of the area. Food’s quality is the same standard and the coffee is some of the best around. The staff are all friendly and answer any questions you have. There’s a reason locals frequently get their coffee there. I’d definitely recommend the avocado bagel sandwich.“

“Southern Brews is at a VERY convenient location, they have a very large variety for a little coffee shop, their coffee is GREAT, and their customer loyalty reward system is top notch.“
“After my Pilates class ended, I went next door to see if they had any non-dairy ice cream, and sadly, they didn't have ice cream. They did have a non-dairy orange icicle frozen yogurt. I opted for that. Service was good, and the frozen yogurt was good.“
