“This was truly an incredible experience. Very much an actual chef's table, with Chef Gene giving us so much information, so much of his time, and so much food! We took home multiple to go boxes. Every course was inventive and fun, and I strongly recommend going there open to whatever Chef Gene has in mind, because it is a crazy fun and innovative culinary adventure tour. Our meal ended with a steak (any cut of our choosing?!?) that he deep fried in Wagyu tallow (?!?!) - our minds were blown. Everything was great, but I think my favorite was this amazing mahi mahi on a bed of salsa verde, pureed corn, with a Peruvian tomato-based sauce. All of those flavors came together beautifully, and the fish was perfectly pan-fried. Just as importantly, everybody there seemed to be having fun and actually enjoying their job, which feels way too rare these days. For Greenville/Greer-based folks it is definitely worth the drive. It's good to get away from Main Street and take in the peace and quiet and greenery, and delicious food.“

Our server, Josh M was fantastic and accommodated our special requests without hesitation. The charcuterie was small but delicious and our cocktails (margarita and mule) were top notch. “I've been here several times for drinks with friends or my husband and have never been disappointed in my selection. Their specialty drinks always are a fun way to try something new and if you sit at the bar (at a not super busy time), bartenders will talk to you about your preferences and make suggestions based off them. I personally just like the way they make a plain boring regular old fashioned. I can't really say anything about the food because they don't have any gluten free options, unless you want a salad with your cocktail, which I do not. LolDietary restrictions: Not gluten-free friendly, but has vegan options.Parking: Don't expect to just pull up and go in. You'll be circling around the neighborhood for a bit during busy hours - like lunch - so plan accordingly.Kid-friendliness: It's not really an atmosphere built for children - the space is small and intimate and there is no "kid's menu"- but if you were there for a meal you would be fine.“

“We made our first trip to CAMP on Thursday 2/16 and I’ll just say this was the first of many. We had four in our party so just decided to share and taste a little bit of everything. Every small plate we had was absolutely delicious. Such very cool and unique combinations of ingredients that worked well together. We tried seven different small plates and the Tres Leches dessert and it was all amazing. The cocktails we had were equally as tasty with very creative combinations of ingredients! However, more than the food, we had an amazing waiter that really just put the exclamation point on the evening. Chris was so fun and personable and just really added to the overall experience. We tried to find a manager to offer our personal kudos to what an amazing job he did and how much we enjoyed our first experience at CAMP, but it was pretty busy so we just left. “Food was so good and fresh! Bacon, egg, & cheese burger was delicious! It was a thick patty so I couldn't eat it all in one sitting, but it was juicy throughout and had a nice grilled flavor. Cooked exactly the way I ordered it! The chicken fajita potato skins were amazing! The potato was crispy and the sauce had a little spice to it. My 2 y/o nephew loved them. (I have a picture of him giving a thumbs up haha) It could honestly be an entree itself. Chicken tenders were tasty. Roasted chicken and pork chop were both full of flavor and not dry at all. Service was good, especially one lady (I believe may be one of the Adams family members). She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. They have a good number of tables inside and a few outside. Brunch special on Saturdays. Plenty of options for anyone. This is a nice place to have a meal with family, friends, or alone.“
