Shrinkflation hit hard here! While I love everything about Tatsu-ya in both Houston and Austin, I cannot believe that they put now just one slice of meat on the ?. Another six month and you'll get only a picture of meat to go with your bowl of ramen.Also, common issue with ramen in Texas is that even if you ask to make sure the broth is hot, you get it lukewarm anyway. I consider that a capital sin, like overcooked spaghetti.
So first time at this place and the food, service and atmosphere was great. Even at lunch I had a small wait in line for an Anime club. But as fast as the food came out and how good it looked the picture was after I already started eating it (sorry about that). Definately recommend this place.UPDATE:Took my kids here and they loved it. Service was fast friendly but not over doing it. This place always hits the spot.

Tried their OL SKOOL, delicious and very well made. Excited to try the other items on the menu. They have a good selection of hot sauces, Fire in the Bowl was Epic! It packs a very good combination of heat and flavorPlace has a nice ambiance and staff is super friendly. Lots of parking.
