4 Best Cafes near Canyon Lake

“I've been wanting to try this food truck for a while and finally got there today for lunch. It was busy, since many restaurants in Canyon Lake are closed on Monday. Unfortunately, we had to wait 50 minutes for our 2 burgers, fries and onion rings. The food was good, though, and the burger was a nice size for the price. I had the Texas Spicy Burger- which was not very spicy, bust still tasty. I enjoyed the French fries and onion rings. Seating is at picnic tables.“

“Good food! Country food at great prices! Old fashioned Texas diner type. Friday night catfish is fantastic fried or grilled. I love the grilled. And their hamburgers are so good! We love their traditional breakfast plates too. Atmosphere is cool inside and out! Fast service.“

“The most amazing carne guisada tacos I’ve ever had! You can also order your tacos however you want, I also had a Potato, egg, bacon, onion, cilantro and cheese. And these tacos aren’t DINKY like other places, big portions for the price which is increasingly rare these days. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The lake views and atmosphere was perfect. I will NEVER be going back to Mima’s or Shamrock Tacos again.“

“Food was over the top good. Fried mushrooms very good and we had the chicken fried steak and also very good. Real friendly server and the place was packed at lunch. Clientele was a strong mixture of retirees and middle aged people. Parking lot was full and had to park next door.“
