“In my personal experience, it has been quite some time since I have indulged in a Greek gyro. Today, I made the decision to visit Gyro Guys in La Porte. To succinctly summarize my experience, I would use the term "exceptional." I had been eagerly anticipating a gyro and am pleased to report that this was an unexpected delight. The superior quality, texture, and distinctive flavor of the succulent lamb/chicken platter, complemented by tzatziki sauce, vegetables, and a side of pita bread, were truly remarkable.I would like to express my gratitude to Carliee (with two "E's") for her recommendation of the medium platter, which proved to be the optimal choice. The gyro cheese fries were delightfully crispy and delicious. While the restaurant was clean, the ambiance appeared somewhat outdated. A renovation of the interior and some minor aesthetic adjustments to the decor would be beneficial.In conclusion, I strongly recommend Gyro Guys in La Porte to anyone seeking a novel culinary experience. “Parking is limited and the line can be long.. but the snow cones are well worth the wait! They make their snow cones with the best shaved ice around. There is no chucks of ice in your cup waiting to break one of your teeth.You can order an ice cream whiz, which is a snow cone with ice cream on the bottom.My favorites are the root beer and orange. They taste just like and a root beer float and an orange ice cream popsicle.You can add extra toppings on your snow cone if you want. They offer all the usual flavors as any other place.“

“This was our first time getting donuts in the eat end and to be honest this place was amazing! They are very sweet and welcoming we had a dozen donuts; they were fresh, yummy and my 4 year old ate all of it not just the chocolate part. He loved them ?? the kolaches were great & the ham egg and cheese croissant as well . There vanilla iced coffee was also amazing ?? 5 starts hands down better than Shipley ‘s . Nothing we got was stale ???This is officially our donut place ? Thanks again for the yummy food ?“

“meatballs and mashed potatoes were GREAT....and did not hurt my stomach like olive garden, so I know the food is cooked w quality. crab bisque was ok..had a very lime or lemon taste..can't figure out which one but it was but someone dropped the ball on that soup. Unfortunate some of the experience others have had, hopefully I won't encounter any. One thing, this new generation does not know how to be perky, alert and how to interact with a person who is spending money. I don't know why every young employee seemed confused, bothered or just in their own world...I should never have to ask..can I place an order while sitting at the bar or upfront..I should be asked and spoken to with enthusiasm and energy. Something that seems to be lacking almost anywhere in the city. However, doesn't take away the good food and decor 7/10“
